Too early?

Hey mamas!

I’m 4weeks with baby #1. We just tested + yesterday. My period wasn’t supposed to come until Tuesday, but tested anyway. I’ve done 3 EPTs. I’m worried that I might have tested too early? Has anyone had any experience with having false + tests?

    Congratulations!! I tested positive exactly 3.5 weeks. I’m due in September. It’s hard to get a false positive. I would suggest calling your OB to do blood work! I did mine and it confirmed I was pregnant. Now I’m 4weeks and 4 days.

    False positives generally don’t happen as the only way to get a positive is for your body to be producing hcg. Congrats!!

    I may be joining the group here soon, also looking at early testing. I'm a lucky one that gets hit super early and hard with the pregnancy symptoms and I'm on day 5 of several of them, but would only be 2w4d along (and that's counting from LMP). My OB ordered a blood test but advised to wait another week before doing the test. I don't know what will kill me first, the morning sickness symptoms, or the waiting to confirm if it's actually morning sickness.
