Mine is that this week we started to give our incredibly active dog CBD treats in hopes that she chills the fuck out. Y’ALL. Do I feel kinda guilty medicating our dog like this? Sort of. Am I fucking thrilled with how it’s helping her calm down? YES. The pros outweigh the cons 😂
Also, coming back to work this week has been hard. Just getting my brain refocused on work and strategic thinking- holy crap my thoughts are like Jello. So happy it’s Friday!
My binge shopping has also been bad. I bought a bunch of random stuff this last week and it’s all starting to arrive and it’s bringing me such joy lol
Side note: I can tell when the CBD wears off because this dog is literally standing over my legs as I work from the couch and on high alert (no pun intended) staring at squirrels. 3 hours ago she didn’t give a 1/4 of this level of fuck about the squirrels. 😂
@heytallmama you have a border collie mix right? No shame in needing to get out of the box to chill her out. My in laws have a border collie and the struggle is real! Good news is that he started to calm down recently (at about age 10 😂).
Also guilty of binge shopping. My husband and I are super transparent with each other about spending. Pretty much anytime before we click the order button we just tell the other really quick that we’re going to buy something and discuss it a bit if it’s really pricy. This past week I’ve been waiting until he goes to bed and then getting so much stuff online. Not purposely to do it behind his back but just because Instagram just really knows what I want these days at 4am. We just got a rocket ship rocking horse delivered today and a plushie dump truck and I could see my husband wanting to be upset but his only response was “I would have killed for this stuff as a kid.” Hopefully he’ll also love the Death Star nightlight and dinosaur rug coming next week!
@disneybaby23 yep! We didn’t know she was part border collie until we got DNA results back after having her about a year and we were like “ah yes, that makes sense.” 🙃 Her other dominant breed is pit/ Staffie/Boxer which we’ve had before and sadly she exhibits none of their calm snuggly qualities 😂
