Now that we’re inching closer to early December thought I’d start a post for these babies that are going to start coming rather quickly! Looking forward to seeing more and more babies coming in the next few weeks. Feel free to share posts and baby pictures!!
we welcomed our baby girl, Emersyn Rae, 11/17 at 37w4d via c-section. Snowstorm trapped us at the hospital and are hoping to go home sometime tomorrow 🤞
Mark Adin was born last night at 38+4 after my water broke the night before. I wasn’t showing signs of real labor so they induced me around 11:30am. I asked for an epidural when I reached 5cm and it was amazing! I could still move my legs enough to get into different positions on the bed. Pushed for 30 min and baby was out!
I was induced at 38wks 1 day because my blood pressure shot up in the weeks prior.
A little bit about my delivery:
My first epidural came out of place (was told this was actually very uncommon!) and the pitocin contractions are no joke. Wasn’t sure why the epidural stopped working until we finally got the anesthesiologist back in at 8cm. He placed a new one and it was much better from there.
But just a reminder to advocate for yourself, cause I really didn’t! I kept telling my nurse I wasn’t feeling it working anymore and she kept reassuring me it was fine and just pressed the dosing button a bunch of times (but that didn’t do anything.) I had a new nurse come in and really helped advocate for me and was so great throughout the rest of the process.
Judah’s blood sugar was reading low for the first few days, and was almost transferred to the NICU, but thankfully his body began to stabilize and hold strong and we brought him home last night.
Good luck to everyone else on the rest of your pregnancies and births!
I finally found out the gender: A Girl! Olivia Dustine. I had early symptoms of pre-eclampsia during thanksgiving week. Was sent home with labs and on light duty/ bed rest. Came in the Monday morning and was told that is was and I needed to get cervical ripening and induced. Got my epidural at 2 cm and then my water broke. I stalled in labor for 8 hours and then off to surgery I went. She was born a lil after 5 am. Turns out, she got stuck to the right while going down.11/29/2022. 6lbs 10oz. 18 ¾" long. Petite lil thing, but she's all ours.♡
Congrats to all the mamas! Our little man, Cameron Patrick, was born 11/25/22 - 7 lbs 11 oz and 20.5”. I had a scheduled c-section due to a previous 4th degree tear during vaginal delivery.
He had a brief stint in the NICU due to some initial breathing issues, but they resolved over the couple hours post birth. All in all, we’re healthy and happy to be home
My little guy was born born 11/27 after an induction due to cholestasis of pregnancy. 6 lb 13 oz, 19 inches. Only 6 hrs of labor and 7 minutes of pushing. 😳 After a few hours, he had to go to the NICU because he was having rapid breathing and couldn’t clear some amniotic flood from his lungs. While there, they discovered he had a pneumothorax (collapsed lung) and he was transferred to another NICU that could treat it. In all, he spent 6 days in the NICU and we just brought him home last night! ❤️
Rowan Edward arrived 2 weeks early after breaking my water. Unfortunately I wasn’t dilated or thinned at all, labor was 37.5 hours, but he’s here and happy and healthy!
Enzo Alessandro 12/10, almost 2 weeks early due to gestational hypertension so we had to induce. Attempted vaginal delivery, was in active labor for a few hours before it was determined it wasn't safe for him anymore and we opted to do a c-section. This definitely wasn't how I imagined it but looking at his cute little face I don't even care how he got here just that he's here with me now🫠
Baby girl born Dec. 11th @ 5:20pm after going into spontaneous labor at 37+5. 6 lb 5 oz and 19.5 in long. Labor was fast, furious, and came earlier than expected for this first-time mama!
Our little man born 12/05 . I was induced early at 37w4d due to Cholestasis, labor couldn’t have gone any easier and recovery has been going very well. Most importantly, we finally have our healthy beautiful baby boy 💙
Baby Aubrin born at home at exactly 41 weeks at 4:16am. Labor was long and intense for this first time mama, but we did it and both momma and baby are doing well.
