Since @cortsull0724 won't have a tree, and requested to live vicariously, why not share here? What does everyone's tree look like? Here's ours (with our fake fireplace going 🤣)...
@trubaby411 thank you! My favorite part are the kids hand and footprint ornaments
My daughter requested colored lights, so I think my days of pretty white Christmas trees may be over. I'm excited for her to love the tree as much as I do, though, so if that means colored lights, that's what we will do! She breaks my heart when she tells me she doesn't love Christmas movies or music! I can't have her also not love the tree!
@scaredunprepared your tree is beautiful! But yeah, change it up if kiddo wants to. I have to admit I agree with her re: Christmas movies, but the music?? Little grinch. Lol.
@scaredunprepared not a huge fan, no! I mean, they’re okay, but I’ve never seen one that grabbed me and I usually don’t have any interest in watching the same movie more than once. My sister is massively into watching the same Christmas movies every single year and it drove me nuts growing up
Bonus kiddos were SO excited to decorate, but I made them wait until after Thanksgiving 😂 hard to get a “perfect photo” (the tree constantly rotates), but the girls did such a good job!!!
Oh my gosh this is the best thread! Love love love all the trees and decor, makes the heart warm!! Also makes my sad home filled with boxes so much happier!! 💕💕💕💕🎄
@acleverusername it's beautiful! But yeah, anything breakable probably should be put away until baby is like....6 or 7 😆. We haven't used "real" ornaments in so long, but I do love our tree the way it is and can't wait to add more hand and foot prints to it!
My 4 year old literally removed over 25 ornaments and put them ALL in the bottom 1/5th of the tree. We didn’t bother with bows and ribbon this year because she likes to rearrange the ornaments on the daily. 🤣
If you look closely you’ll notice all 3 curious George ornaments together, precious moments ornaments together, and all “family” ornaments right there together on the single tree branch.

Great advice! DD literally broke 6 or 7 ornaments this year. May need a hot glue gun or something to put them back together if I have the patience.
@ladyofarlington I love the grouping!! I can't wait for the redecorating stage....right now my son is super into taking the ornaments OFF but not putting them back on the tree (instead just leaving them all over the house lol)
@nsk489 lolll my son takes them off very carefully, then tries to put them back on and gets upset when he can’t do it properly, so he hands them to me. I need to do it RIGHT AWAY, or else. It’s very cute but a little strange to be in the middle of doing whatever, and a little silver pine cone suddenly gets shoved in my face
Here is our tree at 1am Christmas Eve when we finally finished playing Santa. The girls were up 4 hours later. I’m still recovering!!! And my house is a disaster

Here's our Charlie Brown tree! Bigger than previous years but just as patchy 😆
@nsk489 it's beautiful! I sometimes miss having a real tree. There's something extra magical about it.
