First pregnancy, tummy pains

in 1st Trimester
Hey, I’ve just found out I’m pregnant a couple of days ago. Today I’ve been struggling with tummy pains and like a period cramp sensation as well as an ache in my private area. From a lot of things I read this is pretty normal?
Im around 5 weeks pregnant with my first so not really sure what to expect and don’t want to do any unneeded worrying

    As long as you're not bleeding, it's very normal. But you can (and should!) always call your provider if you have questions or concerns. It's better to call them than ask us.

    With me literally only just finding out I’ve not yet contacted my doctors to let them know I’m pregnant so I’m a little unsure on who to call so late on Christmas Eve. It’s just the weird feeling and cramps I’ve been having x

    Cramps are a normal symptom especially early on. You can call the nurses line for your ob/gyn. Someone should be on call.
