    How are you feeling? Physically, fine! Mentally… anxious about the baby’s health. PAL has been really challenging, as I keep wondering if every pain or twitch is it. 

    Any issues/concerns? When can we use our home dopplers? I tried it at 13 weeks and didn’t hear anything.., stopped immediately lol. I’m starting to show a lot more, so I think he’s growing, but it would be great to have more reassurance. This is also my second baby (third pregnancy), so I’m wondering when I’ll feel him moving 🤔

    How are you feeling? Physically, outside of being sick, I’ve been feeling good! I’m struggling to get any real sleep without taking unisom, which is hard bc my midwife wants me to wean off taking it for nausea but I was a poor/light sleeper long before the pregnancy so I’ve been having a hard time not taking it and being functional the next day still. 

    Any issues/concerns? None at the moment, my anatomy scan is on Monday so 🤞 that all continues to go well. 


    @acamomma18 I had to stop trying with my home Doppler for a bit around then too, even at my 15wk checkup the midwives weren’t able to find her using their Doppler and had to do a quick ultrasound on me to check her. All was well thankfully and I’ve been feeling her here and there now but it still isn’t consistent bc I have an anterior placenta. Hoping you’ll feel him moving soon! PAL is so much harder!

    How are you feeling? Since week 14, just tired, but otherwise really good. Before, the morning sickness helped me gain 20 pounds! (Seems backward, but eating subdued my nausea so I just ate like it was my job.)

    Any issues/concerns? None so far. My first round of chromosome screenings came back clear and I was approved to have my 20 week ultrasound at my home hospital instead of traveling 1.5 hours to a specialist (which is apparently normal protocol at our clinic/hospital for advanced maternal age because our doctors are primarily family practice so special cases ship to the "mother" hospital.)

    @acamomma18 I think I finally used mine and found a HB around 16 to 17 weeks... I also started feeling babe move quite a bit more often in the last week or so now and I'm almost 19 weeks now. I'd say you're probably good to try again :) I also initially held off on using mine as at my first OB appt, she had trouble finding the HB with the Doppler (I think I was around 13 weeks then) and had to do a quick US check on baby, so I didn't want to freak myself out by not finding a HB with my home Doppler if the Dr couldn't even find one.

    Thanks everyone!! If just tried the Doppler and it worked 🥹 Talk about reassurance! (Just over 17 weeks) Looking forward to feeling him move around soon.

    How are you feeling? More tired, I take a nap if possible and still go to bed early like 8pm. I put my kids to bed and fall asleep.  

    Any issues/concerns? I haven’t been put on bed rest yet 🙏🏻, very thankful that taking it easy has been working. But I see my regular baby dr every 2-3 weeks and still seeing my high risk dr every 2 for scans. I’m being checked monthly for antibodies because I am RH negative and my blood has been coming back positive so we are monitoring it to make sure baby remains healthy. 

    I’ve been thinking about a Doppler. I don’t feel baby much, he’s very low and towards my back. But I always talk myself out of buying one. $80 for a few more weeks feels silly. Plus it’s super hard to find one used.
