How are you feeling?: good! Nausea still comes and goes but it’s slowly getting better!
Rants/Raves: I’m back at work after two weeks off (had a soft return Friday but I only checked emails from home). I thought I’d be annoyed and overwhelmed but I’m actually fine with it, feeling refreshed and relaxed!
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? Warm white lights and a hodgepodge of ornaments. Some from the ILs and my husband’s childhood, some from mine and some new ones. I can’t wait to fill the tree with hand made kids ornaments in a couple years!

FTM/STM/TTM+: STM EDD/Weeks+Days: 22 weeks/ April 10 Baby is the size of: coconut Team blue/pink/green: blue Upcoming Appointments: 12/20 check up How are you feeling?: my son was sick and attached to me all weekend so it back hurts. Rants/Raves: Really frustrated with my sons constant illnesses. Against my better judgement we took him to my brothers cabin in the mountains to cut down a Christmas tree. I think it will be a great tradition but for this year it was just really exhausting because he wasn’t feeling well and just wanted to be held and I of course didn’t bring any type of carrier so he just took a nap on the tailgate of my dads pickup. He enjoyed decorating the tree much more yesterday.
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? We use colored lights and ornaments we have collected throughout the years and some from my childhood.
Upcoming Appointments: 12/18 or something like that for regular check up
How are you feeling?: Besides the regular hip pain and it effecting being able to sleep well, pretty good overall. Being away this weekend has helped with some rejuvenation.
Rants/Raves: I'm feeling baby everyday now, and I love it. She makes moves sometimes that makes me laugh because it feels so odd 🤣
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? Currently, we have colored lights with a hodgepodge of ornaments that we have collected over the years/ones we've collected as a couple. I'm looking forward to baby having her own mark on the tree in the coming years too!
hoping for my rainbow baby! EDD/Weeks+Days: 20 weeks today!
Baby is the size of: banana I think
Team blue/pink/green: blue!
Upcoming Appointments: 12/14
How are you feeling?: I am so tired! But definitely have more energy than I did a few weeks ago
Rants/Raves: my husband didn't tell me his whole family was 10 pound babies! I am so scared now! He owes me a mommy makeover after this! Lol
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments?
We like to change things up yearly, this year we have blue and white lights along with some blow ups that the kids picked out. Haven't put our tree up yet
FTM/STM/TTM+: TTM EDD/Weeks+Days: 4/23 20+1 Baby is the size of: 10 + inches this week Team blue/pink/green: Team green till delivery! Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy scan tomorrow morning! How are you feeling?: This week I'm suddenly feeling that first tri exhaustion again - like hit by a ton a bricks kind of tired that makes it hard to do anything. My chest is also really sore again... woof. Rants/Raves: Rant: my 3 year old & my husband came down with the flu as we were returning from Disney end of last week... they seem to be on the mend but now my 6 year old is acting unlike herself and had a slight fever yesterday. I just keep pumping vitamins and trying to get everyone to rest!
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? We do 2 trees, one downstairs for the kids, with colored lights and unbreakable ornaments, lots of character ornaments etc. Our upstairs tree we do white lights, still a mix of ornaments but that is where our collectable ornaments go (we collect from danbury mint their gold ornaments each year and the swarovski ones, they started being gifted to us when we got married so we keep it up!) There are also ornaments on that tree from every trip we take & family picture ornaments etc.
Loving everyone’s Christmas decor!!! Such a cheery theme this week!

EDD/Weeks+Days: 21 Weeks (but measuring a week ahead so maybe further?!)
Baby is the size of: No idea this week
Team blue/pink/green: He’s a boy!
Upcoming Appointments: 12/27 for a check up, last one with current OB before moving thank goodness!
How are you feeling?: Awful, caught a cold traveling this weekend and y’all, the sneezes and coughs when pregnant are rough. I have to brace each time as the sharp pain in my pelvis is so bad with them. Assuming this is normal as I googled and it seemed like it is?? Sorry for all you who have been sick so much, I feel the pain now.
Rants/Raves: Rant, the cold above. Rave, appears to just be an icky cold so should be over soon hopefully! But still not fun to add this on top of closing on the sale of our current home this week, purchase of new home this week, and mid packing. But, it’ll just make days after so much better when I feel better!
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? I do all white lights on our tree with unique ornaments. I always love the magazine like trees I see but mine is definitely more hodgepodge and I love it! We are in the middle of moving this December so no decor or tree this year which stinks. Please post pics of your stuff so I can live through you all!! 🎄
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM EDD/Weeks+Days: 4/19, 20w5d Baby is the size of: ?? Team blue/pink/green: Green Upcoming Appointments: Wednesday How are you feeling?: Feeling large all of a sudden Rants/Raves: Rant--hubby had to work late last night (a lot of his coworkers are based in Israel so he sometimes has to work odd hours to touch base with them). I woke up when he crawled into bed around 2/3am and then he snored pretty much all freaking night, so I got no sleep. Rave--we got our Christmas tree this weekend! In Oregon you can buy a permit for $5 to go into the national forests and cut down a tree yourself....it's never going to be the perfect Christmas tree like you get at a tree farm, but we love adventuring into the wilderness to find our "perfect" Charlie Brown tree
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? We usually do colored lights on the tree (but white lights as outdoor decorations) and a hodge podge of ornaments. Some that our parents gave to us from when DH and I were kids, and others that we have collected over the years. We buy an ornament every place we travel to, so it's fun pulling them out and reminiscing as we decorate
@arelianrae my mom gave birth to 4 babies, between 9lbs 3 oz and 10 lbs 3 oz! I was soo nervous I was going to have a huge baby but so far my siblings and I have all had "normal" sized babies lol so I wouldn't worry too much!!
So many sickies this week! Hope everyone gets healthy soon. I get more nervous by the day about all the illnesses I'm sure my son will have after visiting family for Christmas
FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM EDD/Weeks+Days: 4/24, 20w+1 Baby is the size of: a banana Team blue/pink/green: Pink! Upcoming Appointments: 12/21 anatomy scan How are you feeling?: good now! I had a 2 day tension headache that I have finally come out of 🙌 Rants/Raves: My husband (again!) He has been massaging my shoulders, rubbing my temples and giving me foot rubs over the past few days to help rid me of the headache. I came home from work yesterday and he had set up a bath for me too
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? All white lights and we have a tree full of rustic and woodland ornaments! So we have some buffalo plaid, rustic wood pieces and little woodland animals. With some leaf sprigs stuck in too
Upcoming Appointments: 12/12 for our second anatomy scan. I’m so excited to see her again, but I’ve been on edge since they couldn’t get clear views of everything the last time.
How are you feeling?: I’m feeling pretty good! I still feel some back pain in the evenings and at night. Braxton hicks are still going strong.
Rants/Raves: I’m finally feeling the baby every day, but sometimes it will be hours before I can pick up on movement. We are also starting our bathroom renovation today! I’m dreading the construction mess, but I am so ready to have this project off of the to-do list.
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments?
We always get a real tree each year and decorate it with white lights. We have a collection of ornaments that we’ve gathered over the years. We always get an ornament if we travel somewhere new. This year we added ornaments from Grindelwald, Switzerland and Amsterdam!
How are you feeling?: better, nausea mostly gone. Belly stretching though and getting over a cold, so thirsty and coughing.
Rants/Raves: A student actually asked me today, "If I do my work, will my grade go up?" Yes, dumb@$$, that's how it works!
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? Colored lights, no blinking, and family ornaments. Kids get a new ornament every year, and we buy one on each vacation. This year, I had to buy new lights, because I remembered when I went to put them on the tree, that I threw out last year's because too many were shorted.
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM EDD/Weeks+Days: April 19, 21 weeks tomorrow Baby is the size of: 🤷🏼♀️ Team blue/pink/green: pink Upcoming Appointments: Dec 20 - heartbeat check and I start the rounds with other OBs How are you feeling?: Overall good - have had a few days of back pain, but that’s been when I’ve been on my feet, doing too much. Feeling baby all the time and it’s so exciting! Rants/Raves: potty training is no joke, y’all! We’re in the midst of it and it’s exhausting. I felt like we loved our entire weekend in 30 minute increments 😂 it was exhausting and a lesson in patience, but also so proud of how well he’s doing! Parenting and emotions are weird sometimes haha
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? We do two trees (both faux) and do warm white lights. We have a flocked tree in our entryway that’s more “pretty” ornaments and then tree in our living room has a mix of pretty ornaments, ornaments we have collected over the years, and ones our son has made. I’m really looking forward to adding to all the sentimental cute kid things to the trees over the years 😊
@enw1028 the proudest I’ve ever felt of myself and my son was when I could say he’s 100% potty trained. It’s F***ing awesome. No diapers in this house until baby brother is born!
@nsk489 my mom didn’t have any particularly big babies but we were all late, like almost 2 weeks, so I expected the same when I was pregnant with my son. He ended up coming 2 weeks early. You never know how it’s going to turn out.
FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM EDD/Weeks+Days: ~4/5 now I think? (+/-10d); 22w3d Baby is the size of: a coconut I think? Team blue/pink/green: Telling the family & step kiddos at Christmas! Upcoming Appointments: Check-in 12/22 How are you feeling?: ROUND. Hip and ligament pain has brought insomnia back full force, so that's been fun... Rants/Raves: SO grateful to finally be feeling little one consistently, and every day. My partner has been feeling movement the last few days as well, and we're getting to the point I can see my belly move (it's so weird, isn't it?)
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? One of my stepdaughter's was super excited to decorate, so I let her orchestrate the process this year. She landed on white lights, and a combination of red and silver ornaments mixed in with some old-school wooden ornaments from my childhood. Oh! And then some red garland for pizzaz
How are you feeling?: Still sometimes feeling nervous that I don't feel consistent movement, but I know it's because of my anterior placenta. I keep second guessing that I'm feeling anything at all. Also just started getting some bad hip pain too 😓
Rants/Raves: ehh it feels like the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas are dragging. Can't wait for the 22nd for my break from work to start.
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? We actually aren't decorating a tree this year because of home renovations but we like homemade ornaments and colorful lights!

Rants/Raves: I’m on my babymoon and writing this while starting out my hotel balcony and listening to the crashing waves!
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? Our tree has 8 different light settings lol I like them white, DD likes them on the flashing rotating option between white and colored, and DH seems to prefer altering days of white lights v colored lights.
Upcoming Appointments: just had a check up yesterday, next one is at the beginning of January
How are you feeling?: we keep getting sick in our household so feeling better today now that my cold has cleared up. Finally starting to feel baby but I have anterior placenta so not as much as I'd like to be feeling her move
Rants/Raves: rant: the radiologist still hadn't read my ultrasound I had last Saturday so my doctor didn't have the report yet to go over my scan. So still waiting to hear back about that. Rave: lots to be happy about, finished my Christmas shopping and successfully made homemade tamales for the first time! And I'm just so excited to have another little girl, and hubby is too. He is the best girl dad 🥰
GTKY: How do you like to decorate your Christmas tree? All white lights? Colored lights? Coordinated ornaments? One day I think I'll do a specific theme and coordinate my tree decorations but right now it's a hidge podge lol. Lots of colorful lights, lots of vibrantly colored ornaments plus some old ones my grandma made when I was a kid and the ones my mother innlaw gets me every year
For those with recurrent sicknesses in your little ones, I feel like I’ve done everything in my power to keep my kid healthy but he still has some sort of sickness every single week. Our daycare provider suggested we add turmeric to his milk. She went and bought me some from the Indian market because she said the stuff in the grocery store isn’t good enough lol. At this point I’m willing to try anything. I’ll let you know how it goes. My son will be three in February btw…obviously check with your pediatrician before giving to a littler baby.
