7 Weeks: Finetune combo feeding

Hi everyone,
Since my breasts did not produce enough milk after birth, we have been combo feeding with BFing or pumped milk first, and them supplement with formula.
We weigh the baby before and after BFing and get normally around 40-50ml, but I can pump a total of around 70-80ml. We think the baby can't suck everything out, because it got too used to the bottle. It's like formula is currently the main dish and BF the appetizer, whereas we wanted BF be the main, and formula the dessert.
We tried now at 6-7 weeks to only breastfeed during the day to get him to suck harder, and to stimulate my milk production. Downside here is that it is super exhausting, and baby doesn't sleep well (or some days at all). Especially the lack of sleep worries us.
Was curious if anyone here can advise if what we are trying is a good idea? Any tipps to make it work?
