I have met many, many children who have trisomy 21 and absolutely loved pretty much all of them! I know it can be scary, especially because there are some associated health challenges, but overall it's very manageable. There may be a support group for families near you who have kids with T21 (it's pretty common)- you might want to check it out, meet some mamas and their kids, and get some support even now. Those moms have all been where you are and made it out the other side and can give you lots of encouragement.
