Placenta Lakes

Has anyone had any experience with placenta lakes? I just had my 20 week scan and the doctor mentioned that “they saw some placenta lakes.” She didn’t give much information other than it would just be monitored later in the pregnancy. She didn’t seem very concerned, but my anxiety is definitely kicking in! Has anyone had any experience with placenta lakes and what was your experience like?

    I was recently diagnosed with placenta lakes as well and they just suggested additional monitoring. Curious if you’ve had your baby yet and how everything went in regards to this
