Difference in pregnancys

Hi all :)
I am 7 weeks 1 day pregnant and all is well with my reassurance scan, saw and heard heart beat.
This pregnancy was unplanned - I had been so scared to get pregnant because my last pregnancy was so debilitating due to hurrendous sickness. I assumed that my sickness would just get worse every pregnancy as my last two pregnancies I was just awful sick, i didn’t want to take the risk, although I have caught pregnant when I was on anti biotics forgetting they cancel out the pill. Obviously baba wants to be here and we (my OH, and two daughters 6 and 9) are so excited!
Although I have very mild sickness - only in the morning and just tender breasts , tiredness, and hunger! I am so pleased to not yet be sick and be able to still manage day to day life and enjoy my pregnancy so far.
Has anyone else experienced a completely different pregnancy to previous pregnancies and been shocked? Could baby be a boy this time?
I’d love to hear others experiences of different pregnancies :)
Baby due July 2023 xxx

Re: Difference in pregnancys

  • 5 weeks today. My ultrasound isn’t till 8 weeks. I’ve had the worst sore breast and some nausea in the morning and then when the afternoon hits I’m so hungry! I’m so tired I just wanna lay down all day. My first pregnancy- scared, anxious excited all at once!

  • I am so much more sick with my 2nd pregnancy! First one was totally manageable, this one has put me in bed early with nausea almost every evening. My poor 3yo doesn't understand why mommy keeps skipping dinner.
  • Every pregnancy is different, you may be super sick with one and not be for the other.  Wethere you are sick or not for one pregnancy or the other won't determine if you are having the opposite sex.
