Exclusively breastfeeding & got my period back

Hi!

My little guy is 10 weeks old today and only 5 weeks after I gave birth my period came back.  Doctor thought it might of just been after birth bleeding but I started bleeding again this month.  Anyone deal with this?  How did it affect your milk?

    I’ve never gotten mine back that soon but always get it back while still EBF. It didn’t affect my milk at all.

    I’m 10 weeks postpartum and I am pretty sure I am getting mine back… lochia had tapered off and ended, but I’m having pink spotting again. I normally had a very heavy period before pregnancy, so I’m hesitant to say it’s really my period though. I have heard that the surge of hormones while breastfeeding can cause spotting though. I’m tracking my “cycle” just to see if it’s truly my period or just random spotting.
