Lol this meme. My hands were itchy the past few days and I was freaking out that something was wrong with my liver just to find out that I bought the wrong soap brand and it’s making me itchy. Googling during pregnancy is even scarier than usual!
@disneybaby23 I was so itchy with my last March baby because of the dry winter air. It was not fun and I did end up getting labs once for peace of mind!
I was able to check my BP today when I had a jittery/weak spell and it was fairly low for me. I was able to chug fluids and ate something salty and it seemed to rebound. I vaguely remember issues around this time with my son…I’m wondering if vena cava compression is to blame. I don’t feel lightheaded or dizzy, just weak. Baby is sitting so damn low in my pelvis I wish he/she would float up! I know I’ll regret saying this in a couple of months. 🤣
@Wishilivedinflorida - I tend to have a lot of low blood pressure episodes during 2nd tri, usually in the morning when I tend to be dehydrated from the night. A couple of times I even saw spots and had to lay down. My doctor said it was from the fast increase of blood in the body, and that our blood volume increases by 30%!
Anyone have an itchy belly and boobs? It’s driving me crazy. Wondering if I should just keep using my oatmeal calming lotion or switch to something else?
@mamahosch Yes! My belly button started itching yesterday but boobs have been non-stop! And they start to itch at the worst times too. 🥲 I haven’t been using anything, but I should probably start.
The last few weeks I have been having this bruise feeling near the right side my bladder. I only notice it when I wake up in the morning, or if I haven’t gone to the bathroom in awhile. I’m thinking it might be the RL since it does feel like a stretch..but also a tender spot.
Also, I’m pretty sure baby has been laying on my sciatic nerve each night. I toss and turn every night because of the one leg/hip! No matter the position with pillows, it still aches! Yesterday my leg was achy for several hours after waking up. I think she eventually moved because I felt her on the opposite side of the belly, and my leg didn’t ache anymore. 🤦🏼♀️
@mamahosch mine are getting itchy. I have a moisturizer that I made for at night. It's oily so I don't use it during the day. I use my regular body lotion during the day and it helps slightly but I'm definitely going to need something else.
@shorty-sar for the sciatic pain, if you have a roller (like for after workouts), try using it on your butt/leg! I had awful sciatic pain last time and it helped a bunch.
Well shit, I’m spotting at 19 freaking weeks. I’m not in pain and feel otherwise fine and baby is moving. I’m hoping this is just the rest of my small hematoma finally moving out but of course my mind goes to placenta previa. And it’s not irritation because nothing has been *ahem* near my cervix in several days. I’ve never spotted this late in the game. There’s really nothing to do about it so I guess I’ll just message Monday if it’s still there. 🤷🏻♀️
