How do you know if you're a contributing member?

1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here.

2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy?

3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there?

4. We ask that you only post here if you have been participating meaningfully here for at least three months. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit.

5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful.

Cautiously, but optimistically, tip-toeing in here.

CD/DPO of first BFP? Not sure on exact days here but I believe 9dpo (very faint), but a solid BFP on 10dpo, and 12dpo (today).

How many months/cycles had you been TTC? 14 months.

How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) September 2021-October 2022

What did your chart look like? The one month that I don't have a chart. lol

What were you doing TGKU? Shockingly, we were NTNP this month. We needed a breather from all the TTC stress, meds, tests, etc. We planned to come back to it in January, (I had mentioned previously that we were planning for an IUI) but here we are!

How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) Well, I wasn't temping this month since we were taking a TTC break, but I did take a couple OPK's (super casually, I literally didn't think anything would come of it), and then secretly seduced MH cause originally I planned for no OPKs either

So from just those two OPKs, I believe our timing was -1.
As far as symptoms go, I woke up on what I believe was 8dpo and could literally smell everything. I was convinced I must've lost some of my sense of smell with covid a while back and just didn't realize it and then it suddenly came back that morning. lol but it continued to the next day, and I also started having some very very mild cramping, and woke up with my stomach feeling a little weird, so I tested. Those symptoms have continued every day since. I know it's early to be feeling much, so it's kinda surprised me that I am.

How are you going to/did you tell your partner? I showed him the test on 9dpo and was like "do you see that??" He replied with "see what?" (I sent it to my friend and she saw it...lol) The next day, I took a FRER and it was blatantly positive, so I showed him when he woke up in the morning. He excitedly said "it's getting darker!!" haha

Anything else to add? My doctor ordered some blood tests for hCG and progesterone (I was worried about low progesterone, so I'm glad he's doing this). I'm still waiting for the progesterone, but my hCG is 115! We'll repeat the test at the end of the week.
And I know everyone says this, but I'm just genuinely thankful for this space. I've learned so much here. The wealth of knowledge, and the support here, is just incredible. I'll still be lurking, of course, and rooting for everyone here. But I hope so much that I get to stay in the July board...I'm nervous to get too excited, but also want to enjoy it while I have it.
