Spotting after ultrasound?

Hi! First-timer and had my 1st ultrasound today due to some light spotting. I’m 6w3d and everything looked good. I’m having heavier spotting now after the ultrasound and I’m guessing it’s just from the procedure. Has anyone else experienced spotting after their ultrasound?

It irritatedctoyr cervix, which is sensitive. You are fine and if you have sex it may happen also after sex. Nothing to worry about. Unless it becomes heavy and clots.

Thank you! The spotting is basically gone this morning so I’m not too concerned now. I’m ready to move past this and get into the 2nd trimester! 😂
