Does this mean miscarriage?…

in 1st Trimester
My lmp was August 8, I ovulated on August 24. I took lots of ovulation tests and tracked my cycle very thoroughly.
My first positive test was September 2nd (very very faint line). I should be 8w0d today, went in for the ultrasound and I’m measuring 6w0d with a very low heartbeat. She said my dates could just be off, or the baby could have stopped growing at 6 weeks. I go back next week for another ultrasound. Please tell me any insight you may have, good or bad I just want to have an idea. How would I only be 6 weeks today if I tested positive over 4 weeks ago?

    If you tracked with LH strips and stopped once you got a peak you could have had a second LH spike that resulted in the actual O. Otherwise, it could be a miscarriage like your doctor said. I’d hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

    Whatever the doctor says the baby could survive and be fine. This is all guess work till you know the baby has past. I have had a few miscarriages and I would always just wait and see and the baby would survive. I have had 3 children.

    Not sure I understand. If the baby survives it’s not a miscarriage.
