I (and we, my husband wears too) love the Baby Bjorn mini for the newborn days and the lillebaby complete for after that.
The baby bjorn mini is so awesome. It only goes up to 25lb so has a shorter lifespan but if you are someone who is worried about baby wearing in the heat and wants something simple, get this! Because it's not made to hold heavier kids it has fewer support straps, making it less bulky.
We use the lillebaby complete for hiking with kids 9m+ or so. We have a hiking backpack also but actually prefer this kind of carrier.
I like the idea of wraps but can't do them in the summer, and aside from hiking I mostly only babywear when they are little. I have used a sling but never really liked it, either.

I used the stretchy wraps (boba and beluga baby) when DD was very little as she was happiest and snuggliest in those. She did get too heavy for the stretchy wraps and we switched to the lilebaby carrier as well. It snaps on so easy, so my husband is willing to use it as well.
I liked the beluga baby warp for summer as it was the lightest weight, but because the fabric was so thin, she grew too heavy for this one the fastest.
I also got a ring sling and have never really used it... Tried a few times, but didn't feel super comfortable with it, so it has mostly just sat in the closet.
I want to babywear this one more than I did DD: I think we started too late and she never got used to being restrained to me while facing in. For wraps, I liked the K'Tan because it's pre-wrapped and all you have to do is adjust it. DH still uses the Ergobaby to carry DD on his back. For this baby, I'd like to try a Tula right off the bat to get them used to front-carrying. And it comes with a hood, which will be huge for the summer!
For the early days I love the k'tan, I would use it for skin to skin too (DS2 is an October baby) so just a nursing bra then wrap and then a zip up jacket or sweatshirt.
I also have Tula and the newborn insert, which is nice to be able to use something so structured, but not as easy as the K'tan.
We also have (and this is what DH and I share because he wears baby too) a Miamily, it has a hard seat which is awesome. I got it when I flew solo to PHX with DS1 and will likely use it for DS2 to fly again this December.
We have a hand me down hiking carrier...Kelly is the brand? We like that one. But the Miamily works just as well for hiking trips. Hiking carrier works well for when their older.
