Holy hemorrhoids

I currently have the worst hemorrhoid ever. It’s so uncomfortable. I got a small one when I had my daughter. It never bothered me, and I didn’t get it until I went into labor and pushing her out made one appear. But I have had the worst constipation this time around and have what feels like a bolder in my ass. I asked my doc and he gave me some suppositories. But it doesn’t seem to help much. Anything else I can try to find some relief?

    Have you tried ice or sitting in a warm bath? Aloe? I'm sorry, hope you get relief soon!

    I just got one this week too!  First time in my life (that I’ve known of)….wtf!!  I haven’t even been constipated so I guess it’s all the pressure and extra weight.  I’ve been using Tucks wipes which help a little.  I’ve also been using my brand new Boppy as a donut cushion!  😂.  It’s nice to know I’m not the only one dealing with this!  Let me know how your Rx meds work!!

    ugh mama, hemorrhoids are the worst. if it’s super painful, if it gets thrombosed, you can actually get it removed (takes 10 minutes + local numbing shot). my constipation has been awful with twin pregnancy and what we determined was eating too many tums + anti nausea meds. I take colace 100mg twice per day + magnesium supplement at night. my doctor told me to try benefiber in my morning drinks a few times a week as needed too. that has helped me more than I ever thought imaginable. good luck!!!

    I’m glad I’m not alone. I’m going to start miralax daily and I ordered some tucks pads. I do fear it may be big enough that removal may be the only answer but I assume I’ll have to wait till baby comes

    Don't be afraid to ask the OB nurse. Whose thing they can say is no. ❤🫂
