Breastfeeding baby frequency

My 4 month old is uninterested in eating and when she does eat it’s for 5-8 min. How frequently are you breastfeeding your 4month old and for how long?

    Hi!  My little guy is 4 months old.  He eats before his naps which is a about every 3 hours.  He has gotten very efficient and only eats for 10 mins at a time, and only on one side.  It used to take way longer to feed him but he has gotten very good at it aha!  He also gets extremely distracted now so I always have to go into a quiet room with nothing for him to look at so he can concentrate.

    My 4.5 month old is done in about 10-12 minutes total. I was nervous he wasn't getting enough, as a newborn it took 45 minutes. But the pediatrician says his growth is good and babies learn to be efficient at nursing. I noticed I would try to keep him on and he would arch his back and get mad at me so I've learned to trust that he can eat enough that quickly.
