Hello has anyone else had severe migraine needing to taking triptan meds? As well as needing to take gravol. Nothing else seems to touch my migraines and nausea and I feel very guilty for taking these meds.
I was told to stop taking migraine meds in pregnancy and to only take Tylenol. Luckily, the severity of my migraines diminished when I got pregnant (although the frequency increased). Wishing you luck!
Not all migraine meds are pregnancy safe. You probably need to speak to your OBGYN or pharmacist to make sure the one's you have are ok to continue using.
I talked with my obgyn and a high risk specialist to assess what meds are safe. I take fioricet and have two different nausea meds to help! I would talk to your doctor and see if there is a specialist better trained in safe plans. Most I found to manage migraine (as a daily, not emergency) were not considered safe till trimester two and three.
