  I passed mine over a period of 1-2 days last time, never passed it at all the first time and was induced. It doesn’t come out in one clean chunk, more like big globs. And if you do pass it, it doesn’t necessarily mean labor is near and can regenerate itself. It’s so all over the place it could mean something or nothing at all. But don’t worry if you don’t see it. It doesn’t mean something is wrong.

  I believe it can come out in 1 chunk but my guess is that it's less common. As PP said it will regenerate and isn't a sign of labor. I don't think I ever experienced it coming out while I slept. It only came out for me when I was going to the bathroom. I think it was coming out starting around week 37 for me and some would come out every couple days. I never went into labor naturally and had to get induced after a couple high BP readings.

  Labs | high TSH, Factor XIII mutation, high %CD56
  Follow up | 8.8.23 | prescribed metformin, prednisone, plaquenil, and levothyroxine
  Repeat labs after 3 weeks on meds
  Follow up | 11.9.23 | Green light!, increase in prednisone, added lovenox
  Repeat labs in 8 weeks
