Contractions first trimester?

Hello all! First time pregnant mom here. I’m roughly 7 weeks along, first midwifery appointment not until October 21. The wait is so long! 

Is it normal to feel painful “contractions” in your uterus for 2-3 minutes after sex and large bowel movements? (Sorry for the tmi)

    This happened to me early on and it worried me too, but from what I understand, if the cramping is temporary, you should be fine. 

    Typically BMBs have a monthly "questions thread," but...we don't have one right now! :D I will be sure to start one for October.
