11 week discharge + symptoms

Hi All,

i am 11 weeks and 3 days and have been experiencing very light brown discharge, and my nausea seems to be subsiding.

I called my Dr and she said she assumes it to be old blood and isnt concerned.

Has anyone had this this late in the first trimester?
i am happy that the nausea seems to be going away, just nervous that its accompanied by the spotting.

    I have light brown discharge occasionally. It could be old blood, but it might not even be from your uterus, in my case I think it’s from my cervix which gets irritated by p much anything. If you’ve had sex or a transvaginal ultrasound, it could be from that. Even straining with a BM can cause it, that’s definitely happened to me! And nausea can start to go away around 11 weeks. 

    As long as you’re not having cramps, heavier bleeding or all your symptoms suddenly disappear, things are likely fine. But, if you’re really worried you can ask your provider for an extra ultrasound just to check. Your mental health is important too, worrying constantly is not fun!
