    What are your fitness goals for this week/month/pregnancy? Trying to keep to 10,000 steps a day (and managing it almost every day) and continuing prenatal yoga. 

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel? I'm actually so happy to have started the prenatal yoga (4-week class). It's really awesome to be around other pregnant women, although I'm definitely the "earliest" bookend. There is one class member who was 38 weeks this week! I intend to continue doing the class with this instructor. I hadn't done a yoga class in 3 years but I used to be a big practitioner. It's lovely when your body starts to remember poses so easily. 

    What modifications are you making or planning on making? During my first prenatal yoga class, the instructor raffled off 5 Gyrotonic private sessions, and I won the raffle! I haven't even heard of it, but it LOOKS awesome. I'm super excited that these are private 1 on 1 sessions. https://www.gyrotonic.com/

    Any questions? H and I are going to Hawaii next week and my best friend (who's had 2 kids) was like: PROMISE ME NO HIKING! And I'm like... huh? I'm gonna do what my body feels like it can do. What's the concern here? I used to go on big hikes when I was much more fit, but it's been 2 years. I'm not about to do a 10-miler out of the blue. 

    Any tips or advice you'd like to share? Nah. I'm just a newb.

    What are your fitness goals for this week/month/pregnancy? Run every other day to prep for a 5k on 10/15 and do prenatal yoga/strength on "rest" days.

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel? I ran today! I felt amazing, oh how I missed running in cooler weather.

    What modifications are you making or planning on making? I'm going to focus on how I feel, not pace, which is really difficult for me. Also, trying to keep my heartrate to 150 bpm.

    Any questions? Anyone have favorite prenatal yoga videos on youtube?

    Any tips or advice you'd like to share? Water, water, water!

    What are your fitness goals for this week/month/pregnancy? Get back to walking, and I hope to do some prenatal yoga eventually. Nausea has made it tough the last few weeks to do any sort of exercise, but I also have to be careful at the moment because I have a large cyst on my left ovary that could cause torsion if I do too much bending/twisting etc so until baby is big enough to lock it in place my doc has advised me to proceed with caution. 

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel? Just short walks with the dog. I go out feeling fine, but usually come back feeling nauseated. Good times. 

    What modifications are you making or planning on making? Currently, nothing strenuous. I hope to be able to get back to a more regular routine in the second tri.

    Any tips or advice you'd like to share? Not that I can think of.
