6 week ultrasound - IVF

in 1st Trimester
Had my ultrasound at 6w1d after IVF of genetically normal embryo. Only a gestational sac was seen. Any success stories of someone going back at week 7 and seeing a baby? Should I expect this to end in a blighted ovum? Doctor is being vague and not confirming either way.

    Hi Knottiede, how did it turn out?  I hope all was ok for you and the progress continued.  I go in for my 6 week ultrasound on Monday and am not sure what to expect.  It seems like it’s all a wait and pray game.

    Hi Mama, I also went in thinking I was 10 weeks but turns out I’m 6 weeks. They say to go back at 8 weeks. I had the same. GS. She did find a YS. Trying not to over think it.
