    FTM/STM/TTM+: STM
    EDD / Weeks + Days: 4/9, 10w1d
Baby is the size of a: paperclip
    Team blue/pink/green: Green
Upcoming Appointments: Thursday!! FINALLY! First ultrasound, it's so hard waiting for that first ultrasound to find out if everything is going ok
How are you feeling?: Still not much of an appetite. Really bad headaches. Trying to up my water intake but it's hard remembering to take care of yourself when you're busy taking care of everyone else all day
Rants/Raves: My MIL lives in our downstairs apartment. She eats dinner with us most nights (I cook) and she NEVER helps clean up. Like sometimes doesn't even clear her dish from the table, and if she does she doesn't put it in the dishwasher. Also she usually makes Sunday dinner for us, and last night she decided to also make a cake.....full well knowing that I'm making a cake for my husband's birthday today. I'm sure she meant nothing by it but it just rubbed me the wrong way!
    Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory: Oh too many to pick just one! I had a really great childhood...I have 3 siblings, all close in age and we all got along really well (most of the time 🤪). I guess one that always sticks out is "the green jello incident". We went to Ocean City MD every summer. One year my mom made a 9x13 tray of green jello and we all forgot about it. So the night before we had to leave to go home, she was emptying the fridge and pulled out the tray of green jello. She gave us all spoons and let us just dig right in (eating an entire thing of jello directly out of the tray never would have been allowed on a normal day)

    EDD / Weeks + Days: 10 Weeks
Baby is the size of a: Lego person
    Team blue/pink/green: finding out
    Upcoming Appointments: October 7
How are you feeling?: nauseous, dry heaving, bloated, gassy, tired.
Rants/Raves: my fingernails and hair are loving pregnancy/prenatals.
    Questions:
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory? Playing outside-my neighbors were close to me in age so we would build forts in the tree line behind my house, make up games, play in this gigantic puddle whenever it rained. I’m still friends with them and our moms also remain best friends to this day.

@nsk489 wow that is a long time to have to wait! I’m glad you’re finally getting an appointment. We lived with my in laws for like 3 weeks while moving once and I don’t know if I could do it again or for a long period of time. I love them but MILs just have a tendency to get under our skin.

    EDD / Weeks + Days: 4/9/23, 10+1
Baby is the size of a: Kumquat
Team blue/pink/green: secretly hoping for pink, but looking forward to finding out (and then maybe not telling anyone

Upcoming Appointments: 9/21 to check-in and pull bloodwork for NIPS

How are you feeling?: Tired, bloated, sore/achy and I hate almost every piece of clothing I own right about now...

Rants/Raves: BOOBS! When will they stop? LOL I'm already up two cup sizes to a 34F by 10weeks and idk what I'm going to do if they keep it up at this rate....

Questions: When does it all start to feel "real"? If my boobs weren't so sore I think I'd be struggling to wrap my head around it even more...

GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory? Summers...biking to the pool everyday and swimming pretty much nonstop

@nsk489 - Kudos, girl. I don't think I could do it! I'm grateful for my in-laws - they're amazing humans and I'm grateful to call them family....but I still don't particularly want to live together

EDD / Weeks + Days: 8 weeks 1 day, 4/23 (they updated my EDD but I'm staying here as all my other kiddos arrived in week 39 anyway!)
Baby is the size of a: I don't know
Team blue/pink/green: Team green all the way!
Upcoming Appointments: 9/27 at my OB and 10/12 for my NT at the hospital
How are you feeling?: Overall OK just really exhausted, and I have mild anemia so I'm constantly cold.
Rants/Raves: Not much to report in either direction!
Questions: If you were taking 2 young girls to Disney for the first time, what would your #1 DO NOT MISS thing to see or do or eat at?
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory? I have a lot. Every summer my family and I would move into our beach house that we shared with my cousins who are all of our same ages, it was so much fun!!
    TTM - EDD 4/23 - Team Green <3

EDD / Weeks + Days: updated to 9w4d EDD 4/12

Baby is the size of a: not sure where we are today

Team blue/pink/green: team baby, but we're still on the fence about finding out

Upcoming Appointments: graduated from RE care to OB. First appointment is tomorrow with a new OB.

How are you feeling?: still pretty nauseous and bloated. So ready for a new feeling (preferably one of the better kind).

    Rants/Raves: not today

    Questions: NATM

GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory? Helping bring a litter of puppies into the world when I was in elementary school. I found the whole process so fascinating watching it dog do what came so naturally to her.
  • @MsBeachNJ - Idk that this is quite what you're going for....but as soon as I read your question the first thing that came to mind was the Dole Whips....I've tried to make them at home but it isn't quite the same.....mail me one while you're there, would ya?
  • @iiirene @gingerbunny23 MIL moved in with us in May, it's only supposed to be temporary (she moved all the way from FL) but to me it seems like there is no end in sight 😆 thankful she has her own "space" downstairs so we can all escape from one another!
  • @gingerbunny23 omg I can't imagine having large boobs and then them getting even larger bc of pregnancy! I would definitely expect them to keep growing 😬

As far as when it starts to feel "real"....for me (last pregnancy) it was once I started getting to hear the heartbeat at my appointments! I'm already 10 weeks in and still waiting for that first ultrasound so I am struggling for it to feel "real" since my symptoms are (thankfully) fairly mild.
  • @gingerbunny23 for me there were varying degrees of it feeling real. After my 12 week appointment when my son looked like an actual person and was moving I cried for like 3 days because it was much more real than the blob at the 8 week appointment. After that, it felt much more real when I started feeling him move and when my belly got big enough to buy maternity pants.
  • @nsk489 & @iiirene - can't thank you both enough for validating that question.....it just still feels really surreal some days, and I'm grateful to know I'm not the only one who's felt that way at some point! Seeing the little kumquat squirming around on the ultrasound last week definitely hit home.....but a week later and I'm back to having to remind myself this is really real again lol....maybe next week I'll finally get to hear that little heartbeat <3

Team blue/pink/green: hope to know soon!
    Upcoming Appointments: NIPT is Friday!
How are you feeling?: OK; I flew on Monday and Tuesday for a business trip and was nervous I’d be super nauseous but thankfully I was able to hang in there. 😊
Rants/Raves: I miss coffee. I’m still having major aversions and would love more caffeine than chai tea. I’m so tired!
Questions: Can’t think of any at the moment
GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory? This is a tough one! So many. Maybe I’ll come back.

Team blue/pink/green: it doesn't matter to me honestly

    Upcoming Appointments: Wednesday the 21st

How are you feeling?: my symptoms aren't as intense as they were with my first. Nausea comes and goes, migraines every few days, still exhausted. Anxiety is kind of through the roof right now, I just can't wait to get past the 1st trimester

    Rants/Raves:

    Questions:

GTKY: What is your favorite childhood memory?
Not one specific memory but growing up we used to walk to an ice cream stand down the street from our house. Best soft serve ever
