Extreme uterus pain 20 weeks

Hi y’all,

I’m trying to see if anyone else has experienced this pain I am having. It happens on the lower left side of my uterus and when it happens it’s so bad I almost puke, pass out, and it’s very hard for me to breathe. My doctor told me it was probably round ligament pain but anyone I ever talk too says they have never had round ligament pain this painful. Sometimes it last 5min sometimes it last 15+ minutes. It usually happens randomly at night but now it’s happened at 3am and again at 5pm. It will also get bad subside and then get really bad again and can radiate pain to my back. I can’t tell if maybe I just have a low pain tolerance or maybe Since I’m so small my uterus might just be very painful when it stretches.

    "extreme pain" isn't normal. If your doctor isn't helpful, time for a second opinion. If it really is round ligament pain that's that bad (and I'd want 2 doctors at least agreeing on that; I wouldn't want to dismiss something serious), I'd ask for a referral to a PT for exercises to help.
