Is this cramping normal?

6 weeks pregnant G3 P1, had a d&c for mmc last year. Sometimes when I pick up and haul around my 30+ pound 2.5 year old, I feel a little crampy down there. I’d normally brush it off but we’re still a little jumpy after our loss. Is this anything you’ve experienced or would fret over?

I lost a pregnancy in 2012 after after some extreme cramping and bleeding, so I am also incredibly panicky about the cramps I'm getting now. My doctor advised that it's totally normal to cramp, and it's not a cause for concern unless it's severe and accompanied with bleeding (more then spotting, similar to a period). Bottom line, it is normal and most likely fine, but if you're really concerned call your OB GYN.
