How long were you on standby for an induction?

I was scheduled for an induction at 10pm and they called and said to wait for a call sometime throughout the night, come the next morning at 9am I still had no call. So I called them and they said they were busy and they would call, it’s now 4pm the next day and I haven’t heard anything😭 I know there’s emergencies. But how long were you on standby for an induction? Was it longer then 3 days? Is that normal?
