Pregnancy After Weight Loss Surgery.

Hello Mommas ♥️!

I hope that you and yours are doing great!

I underwent Gastric Bypass Surgery in 2016. This is the first pregnancy after that and I have to be honest, this pregnancy is sooooooo different! It is a procedure that makes you have malabsorption to vitamins like B12 specifically. My labs came back very low. Before becoming pregnant I suffered from Hypoglycemia and I have noticed my sugar dropping constantly now. 
Any other mommas going through this? If so, how are you dealing with such?

    Hello! This is my 2nd pregnancy since my bypass. I had it in 2005. Had my second son 2015. And I’m 15 weeks currently. I also have anemia been taking iron. However it’s super high now ! I swear by similac mom drinks or boost drinks with extra protein!!!! Plus b12 injections i give myself. I’ve stopped taking iron for a little to even it out.  I would suggest the drinks tho. 1-2 a day has been a blessing both my pregnancies !

    I am also a bypass Momma. I had my surgery in Feb 2017, and got KU in Jan of 18. My first pregnancy was amazing, and all went well. I had a tougher time port partum to be honest. I had to keep my calories up because I was Bf/EPing and needed to keep that going. I also had PPD/PPA and went on medication that I believe made me gain. I gained a ton back and have been struggling with that. 

    Since that pregnancy I have had *TW* two missed miscarriages *End TW* and am now on my fourth pregnancy at 18 weeks today. I fully intend on getting back on the wagon after this baby/BFing journey.
