Upcoming Appointments: I just had mine last week, so won't see the MFM for two months and will see my OB in a month.
How are you feeling?: I had my anatomy scan on Friday and everything looked good, so I am happy about that. I finally bought a couple of things for her room.
Rants/Raves: My MFM won't see me for two months since everything looked good. And while I know that this is good news overall, that wait is so hard when you've had losses! So it's both a rant and a rave I guess because I am glad he doesn't feel the need to see me, but also want more reassurance
Questions: Is there anyone else who is likely not going to have a baby shower?

How are you feeling?: still feeling down off and on (more on than off) & trying really hard to get things done and find ways to relax and be happy. Just in such a funk the last couple weeks. Hoping tomorrows AS gives me a happy kick
Rants/Raves: Rave-have been feeling little movements for the last couple weeks, earlier than I expected as a ftm, but last night was the first time I felt a push on my hand. I’m going to assume the half a cookie had something to do with the extra kick since I’ve had so little sugar 😅
Rant-I’ve been trying to switch to a prenatal with iron, tried several, and I think I just give up. I have pre-existing acid reflux that’s always been bad in the morning, and there’s something about the prenatals that triggers my gag reflex so bad. Back to the “gentle on tummy” gummies I feel…

GTKY: Who was your high school or college celeb crush? Huge crush on David Boreanaz in Buffy/Angel when it was airing, but by high school and college I realized Sarah Michelle Gellar was the real crush 😅

How are you feeling?: my weeks are mixed about half the week I feel okay, energy is mediocre but I am able to function relatively well and the other half (the half my husband works and I’m alone with my toddler) I literally feel like I am dying super sleep deprived which brings back the nausea etc
Rants/Raves: Finally got an ENT appointment for our son on October 19th and fingers crossed they can promptly treat so he starts sleeping better before this baby comes!!
Questions: okay for those who are also having girls how are you not buying literally all the things? Shopping for girls is soooo fun!

I was a big book nerd and loved Edward from twilight but then when the movie came out it completely ruined it for me me hahahah also my husband and I have been together since we were 16 so I suppose he is my high school AND college crush ahha

How are you feeling?: This weekend was rough in that I had a lot of indigestion and tummy troubles. We spent the weekend at a cabin with friends and although the food was delicious, I think it was just too much for my changing body. It was really nice to get back into my usual routine of healthy meals and snacks.
Rants/Raves: DH got to feel baby movements this morning for the first time!
Questions: I’ve had one consistent symptom this whole pregnancy - my right ear keeps getting plugged up! I can’t seem to find any patterns and not totally sure it’s pregnancy-related but it’s so annoying. Anyone else?
GTKY: I’m with @thankfullyamama! I read Twilight senior year of high school and fell in love with my version of Edward. I was extremely disappointed when the cast for the movie was announced.

Upcoming Appointments: 2 weeks, anatomy scan today was a bust and she wasn’t participating so it was a little disappointing, especially since DH actually took off work for it
How are you feeling?: I’m an emotional mess but more energy at least
Rants/Raves: rave—my BP has stayed stable which has NEVER happened in any of my previous pregnancies—this is longest I’ve gone without an incident/need admitted/more meds!
Also my OB suggested we mayyyyy skip my 1/1 induction date (37+0) and maybe push forward since my BP is doing so well!! Not that I love being pregnant, but some more time to cook and have my body be ready for delivery would be awesome
Questions: any prenantal yoga suggestions. I’m not feeling up to my Peloton, but I’d like to get some movement in

How are you feeling?: burnt out from work and getting insomnia
Rants/Raves: started asking up in the middle of the night and cannot get back to sleep for like 2 hours. It’s really impacting my mental health as I’m just tired all the time.
Raves: Taking a two week vacation and so excited!! I also have a prenatal massage on Friday and I just love them.
Questions: Anyone move while pregnant? We are thinking of buying a new house and it’s a bit crazy but we need more space. We would hire movers but packing, staging our current house to sell is just a bit daunting.

@footdrbritt I'm sorry your AS was a bust. The same thing happened with my DD. I didn't mind it because I got more pics of her, but it was annoying to wait longer to make sure all was on track. Hopefully the next one is textbook!
@cc_clark I'm sorry about the funk you're in. Hopefully it's just temporary and you'll feel better soon. Have you mentioned it to your OB by any chance? Just a thought that they might have some insight/suggestions for coping.
@sparklingdiamond I'm not going to have a shower! I am actively trying to get rid of stuff 🙃. But one of my friends mentioned a celebratory tea party at a local tea house and I would fully support that idea!
@willrunforcookies I'm exactly the same about air traveling atm. People don't have to mask up on planes or in the airport anymore, right? Hesitant to fly over here too.

How are you feeling?: I'm feeling fine! Starting to get a little nervous about the AS and just praying all is looking good. I feel strong kicks so I know baby is, well, kicking! But other than that I hope everything goes well.
Rants/Raves: Rave: I'm eating a delicious taco. Rant: My poor sweet DS smashed his face into our wooden bed frame last Friday. We've been to urgent care, and now the dentist, and all looks good, but he's still sore and swollen. I just wish I could have all his pain instead!! Toddlers are so hard 😫

How are you feeling?: So pregnant! I feel way bigger then I did last time at this point. Bending over is becoming difficult. My back is sore and I could really use a mid day nap.
Rants/Raves: I treated myself to the Beyond Yoga maternity leggings. They are so dreamy soft and cozy, but I’m scared they might not stay as soft once I wash them.

@beccaneu I love beyond yoga! I’ve had several pairs and the buttery softened lasts through all the washes! One thing to note, they have a problem with unraveling at the seam pretty early on after use. If it happens, email them with pictures and your order number to request a new pair. I heard they’re pretty good about it. I just emailed them today to ask for new pairs! I’ll let you know if they comply.

How are you feeling?: just relieved to be halfway done with pregnancy. This is my first one and will absolutely be the last.
Rants/Raves: Raves, my cousins have all banded together to form a badass pregnancy support group, and our text threads have been the snarky, bitter New England rant-fears that my hard, hormonal little heart needs. I am so grateful to have that community in my corner, especially since I’m estranged from my parents and brother. It’s validating.
Questions: Has anyone discovered the sweet, comfy glory of MEN’S Levi’s 501s during pregnancy? I’ve hated every single pair of over- and under-belly jeans I’ve tried, but I put on a pair of men’s 501s this morning and was AMAZED by how well they fit during my awkward bloated-belly-but-not-yet-a-bump stage. Highly recommend!
GTKY: Who was your high school or college celeb crush? Hands down, Jeff Buckley! I still worship at the altar of Jeff Buckley. I read every book on him, owned every album, and wore nothing but black jeans and white men’s tee shirts for all of my high school, art school, and grad school years. Having a “uniform” made life easier, anyway.
