Spinach salad. To be more specific, spinach, grape tomatoes, honey vinaigrette from Primal Kitchen, salt/pepper, and parmesan shavings.

@acleverusername that sounds delicious! I’ve been into salads lately too, not a craving though just because it’s too hot to cook or eat anything warm.

Last time I started craving citrus when nausea really kicked in around week 8. For now I mostly have aversions. I usually love anything that involves cheese and creamy dishes, but that sounds revolting to me currently.

Does everything count? My hunger is endless. I have been drinking lots of smoothies, like anything crunchy, and my sweet tooth is as strong as ever. A craving I have not acted upon is an IPA. I think just the fact that I can’t have it is what is making me want one so badly.

@etnyah last time I had an aversion to salmon and now it’s one of my sons favorite foods. Thought that was ironic.

@acleverusername I don’t know what primal kitchen is but I’m pretty sure I need that honey vinaigrette

And coffee... but I limit to one cold brew.

Today was feeling pretty nauseous and the only thing that sounded good was my mom's stewed noodle soup. It's basically elbow macaroni and canned stewed tomatoes, a little added water to make a "broth" and salt and pepper. So simple but definitely hit the spot!

literally probably the worst thing for me but i’ve been craving McDonalds fries and basically anything salty. They seem to help with my nausea which seems to last all morning when it comes

Ohh no. It’s begun. Currently waiting for Grubhub with a McDonald’s order. This happened last time too. It would be so convenient if pregnancy cravings were like, broccoli and halibut. Nope, junk food.

I was eating normal, pretty healthy food until yesterday… then everything went down hill. I only want carbs. I can still get in a healthy breakfast of veggie egg cups and some fruit, but from lunch time onwards it’s all about the carbs. I also want milk (with dinner) like a kid.

I feel like I've been trying to eat pretty healthy but the last 5 days or so, morning sickness is kicking my butt so I've basically had toast and broth and not much else. Meat is a no - just the sight of it and my stomach is turning. Kind if trying to keep simple so as to not set off a vomitting spell lol

Salty/ tangy! I’m repulsed by sweets which is crazy bc my non pregnant self lovessss sweets. Lately mustard and Tajín has been my favorite topping on everything and I dip my chips in it lol

I’m having more aversions than cravings but I have wanted BLTs for several days straight. DH is buying a giant package of precooked, just heat up in the microwave bacon at Costco right now. 🥰 Hope this craving sticks around and I’m not repulsed by bacon tomorrow.

During my pregnancy with DD literally anytime I craved something enough to buy a ton of it I was completely over it like the next day. 🤣

I'm going to consider myself lucky since I seem to be craving protein (eggs, hummus, chicken). But I feel like the other shoe will drop at some point.

@acleverusername I went through a pretty serious hummus kick for a few weeks then all of the sudden it’s like an aversion. When I pack it into my sons lunch I gag.

All I want these days are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cereal. Oh and avocado mashed up with a hard boiled egg in a tortilla.

Unexpected aversion: coffee! I live for morning coffee and I haven’t had it in a week. The smell makes me gag. I’m amazed I didn’t have any massive withdrawal symptoms, I can’t remember the last time I went a day without it. I don’t know what to do with my hands in the morning, I always have a cup. Would it be weird to hold an empty cup?

Ha, that was me last pregnancy. Pickles, sauerkraut, you name it. Right now that sounds revolting.

Cherry tomatoes and baby carrots have been my go-to snack this week. Can’t get enough. Must be a vitamin C thing. Not complaining, much healthier than the fries I was craving last week!

I'm obsessed with green olives right now. Most other foods, especially sweets, make my stomach turn. Can't really handle meat. I tend to avoid breads and stuff due to a gluten sensitivity so all that's out too. But give me a jar of olives and see if it'll last 24 hours (hint: it won't lol)

@maggied26 LOVE olives. I devoured them on my greek salad earlier this week. Basically anything pickled/sour/acidic is really helping. I'm also anti-sweets. Hubs suggested splitting a chocolate bar yesterday, and I was like "nah." I did end up having a couple of squares because it was dark choco.

@etnyah I have a major coffee aversion too! I did as well when I was pregnant with DD but it’s worse this time and even iced coffee with milk is sounding awful to me. I’ve been loving Trader Joe’s spiced chai and adding some hot milk (frothed with my ninja latte frother) and it’s been a decent substitute, although noticeably less caffeine. I had a headache for a few days straight (probably due to the caffeine withdrawal) and caved today for an iced pumpkin spice latte for a bit more caffeine (and bc it doesn’t taste like coffee). 😊

@ladyofarlington I didn’t have coffee aversion last time at all, this is totally throwing me for a loop! I just started drinking sparkling water instead, helps with nausea and hydration. Hopefully I’ll start liking coffee again around second tri! Anything latte sounds bleh too, not been into dairy either.

I got some fresh produce delivered yesterday (we live in the agricultural area of CA), and today I devoured a fresh cucumber and 2 tomatoes with salt while waiting for hubby to make dinner. YUUUUUUM.

Went to a bbq with some friends and oh my goshhhh I had to stay composed while the smell of meat cooking was making me want to puke every second. And then I was handed a plate of brisket and I somehow managed to force down one third.

I just want to get to the part where I feel comfortable telling people. Trying to pretend everything is normal when I feel like garbage is getting old

I’ve been eating pretty normal but feel like my stomach is starting to get a mind of its own (I’m now 8 weeks). I ate a nice healthy breakfast and lunch yesterday and then came home from work ravenous and ate half a big bag of Cheez-It Snap’d…then I felt too full/ sick to eat dinner and nothing sounded appealing. Ughh 🤦🏼‍♀️
