Trouble sleeping?

Hey everyone! I’m new here. I’m very early ~5 weeks and for the past 1-2 weeks I haven’t been sleeping. I fall asleep fine but wake up with my heart racing, my mind starts wandering and I’m unable to fall asleep again. Any advice? Anyone in the same boat to give comfort I’m not alone? Thanks!

  • My OB said it’s safe for me to take Benadryl at night. I would ask your OB to make sure they agree but that’s what I do.

  • Hey there!! Looks like you posted a while ago so not sure if you're still needing wisdom but I've been in the same boat-- wake up to pee and can't fall back asleep. My nutritionist recommended that if I'm not back asleep within 20 minutes (even if I try a sleepy meditation) to get up, get out of bed and DON'T look at my phone/watch TV-- go to another room and read, make myself some warm lemon water or tea, put my feet in warm water... All natural ways to help calm my mind back down. I've done it the last couple of nights and it's really helped me!! Hope you're doing better now!

    I’ve been in your situation before. I’m also suffering from a sleeping disorder and frankly it has been quite stressful to deal with but what has been helping me is natural therapies.
