Possible miscarriage - help?

Hi everyone, first time pregnancy here. So as you can probably imagine, I’ve done my fair share of googling (probably more than I should have). I’m hoping to get some guidance or advice from women who might have gone through this before.
I got my first positive test on 7/20. Due to not having insurance at the moment and the OB being fairly busy (I recently moved to a new state so I don’t have a Primary or OB yet), the OB can’t see me until the 29th.
I got concerned this past weekend, as my SO and I had sex and afterwards there was a decent amount of blood. It looked like there could have been clots as well, but I couldn’t quite tell if it was cum mixed with blood, or an actual clot (sorry if this is tmi). The color was more like a red than pink or brown, which concerned me as well. I didn’t have any liners or pads to use, but the blood wasn’t really ending up on my panties, it just was coming out everytime I peed.
I was able to get into a womens clinic to have an early u/s done this past Monday. Based on LMP I should have been around 7w3d, however, the u/s showed only a gestational sac that was measuring 5w2d. There was no yolk sac or fetal pole to be seen. They said it could be that I ovulated later than I expected, or there is a chance it’s something else.
I had some spotting again after the u/s, I was hoping it was just from the irritation from the u/s wand, but it’s been 3 more days and I’m still spotting. It’s definitely more pink in color now, and not nearly as much as it was over the weekend, however it doesn’t seem to be stopping.
If the dating of the u/s is correct, there is a chance it’s implantation bleeding, but I don’t feel like that is what it is (cal it intuition or just a gut feeling, but something feels off). My only pregnancy symptom I had was breast tenderness, which is almost completely gone now. I want to stay positive, but I’m growing more worried by the day. I have a follow up u/s for next Wednesday the 17th. It’s just hard to be in the dark until then.
Anyways, im sorry for just spewing this all out there, I don’t have many people where I moved that I can talk to about this and no one else that I know that has gone through pregnancy has had anything like this happen to them so im a little lost
