Trigger Warning Possible Anembryonic Pregnancy

I had my first OB appointment today and they did an ultrasound. It showed a gestational sac, but no embryo. My doctor said that it's possibly an anembryonic pregnancy, which means that the amniotic sac and placenta are developed by there's so baby inside them. I have to go back in 2 weeks to confirm, but the odds are not good. It really sucks because my body still thinks I'm pregnant but emotionally I feel like I've miscarried already. Spending the day giving myself space to feel all the things--sad, worried about hubs who doesn't confront emotions super great, angry at the situation. 😔
