Began process of referral for RE in spring of '19, blood tests confirm low AMH (.54) but all else is good.
May '19 HSG shows open tube, but ultrasound suggests fibroids
MRI in June '19 confirms two large fibroids, one growing through wall of uterus
In June '19 I move from California to Oregon, disrupting my insurance, referrals, etc. 5 months spent piecing it all back together.
Nov. '19 attempted myomectomy (vaginal approach) failed. 2nd surgery using laparoscopic method in Jan '20 is successful.

Aug-Oct, 3 femara cycles, all BFN
RE referral. While waiting to set up an appointment Nov-Jan,I continue with natural cycles and ICI, using a known donor, BFN...
Jan '21 more bloodwork, AMH is worse (.30), FSH high albeit not catastrophic at 13.2. hysteroscopy all good. "looks cozy!" says the RE.
Feb '21, injectables (menopur, novarel), iui, BFN (doc said the frozen donor sperm sample had the "best numbers she'd ever seen!")

July '21 IVF: standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 7; 6 days of stims. 8 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilize, 4 made it to blast. 3 are 4AB, 1 is 4BB. PGT-A results all abnormal.
Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.
Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 5; 11 days of stims. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal.
Feb '22 FET (low-level mosaic): CP.
May '22 egg retrieval, lupron flare protocol. HGH priming for 1 month before stims; md lupron 20/20u daily; menopur 225, follistim 225, 10k trigger after 8 days of stims; AFC 10; 13 retrieved; 10 mature; 8 fertilized. All frozen at 2PN for later thaw, grow, and biopsy.

  • Ok y'all, but TB has set up an anti-spam thing that means if you post more than three things in 60 seconds they won't let you post anything else for 120 seconds. While I'm all in favor of reducing spam, this is just freaking irritating for the person who updates the threads on Monday.

  • Let's talk houseplants for a second.  Who is a plant lady like me?  What are your favorites?

I love my jade and split leaf philo plants (I have two of these).  I can't seem to keep pothos alive!

I ordered a few more off of a local business that I am going to pick up this weekend.  Getting my first swiss cheese philo!  Can't wait!  I think that will put my total up near around 20.

  • @ReadyForaB I murder all houseplants. Mostly unintentionally.

We have had so many drive-bys lately! We should pay someone to be our board bouncer so none of us have to deal with it. (Kidding...sort of)
  • @ReadyForaB i would say i am a moderate plant lady LOL i have been known to keep things alive for years (10yo succulents, a fiddle leaf that's 5yrs old) but have also killed my fair share of houseplants (my husband likes to overwater).

we've currently got a snake plant (prob the 5th one we've had over the years, lol), the above ref'ed fiddle leaf, a good like 7 succulents sprinkled around, a cordyline red sister (that i'm not sure how well i'm keeping alive), my elephant jade is like 5x bigger than when i bought it... and my shining accomplishment is my orchid at the office that i've gotten to rebloom 3x now (i've killed many an orchid). i sadly somehow killed a 7yo peace lily a month ago, unclear how tbh. they're usually pretty indestructible.
  • ReadyForaB  Me!  I love the hydrangeas I got from my grandma's funeral that I then babied and planted outside and are doing so well.  I even propagated them for some family members.  I love my geraniums that are light pink with darker pink accents that I bring indoors and keep alive all winter.  I have some philodendrons that just take over and go everywhere.  A peace lily that hasn't flowered in a while (because it's been a rough year and it hasn't gotten the true love it needs).  A Christmas Cactus my aunt brought for Thanksgiving one year, and saw it years later and didn't realize it could even live that long.  LOL.

Now, for some reason if I get Orchids, which I love, once they drop their flowers, the leaves look GREAT but I can't seem to get them to usually flower again.  I can NOT do African Violets, which my mom loves, or any other plant where "don't get the leaves wet" is a thing, because I'm like a 3 year old watering plants and water gets EVERYWHERE.  #Disaster

  • @ReadyforaB I'm not very good houseplant lady. Not that I kill them--I have a peace lily that is going on six years old, somehow--but I forget the names of all my other plants!  :D I'll post a picture of them all later.
  • @anniemarie887 Ohhhh you do have a lot too! I can not keep succulents alive at all!.  And my elephant jade is one of my favorites and, same, so much bigger than when I got it!  I do not have a fiddle leaf but I have heard they are hardish to care for.

@stormageddon-darklordofall Ohhh I love hydrangeas!  We have them outdoors but for some reason my white ones did not bloom this year. Kind of sad about that.  My purple ones did well. I also love my philos! I have one I got as a super tiny baby and is huge now.

@hestia-is-wearie peace lilies seem to be a theme here!  I had one from my mother's funeral years ago before I was a plant lady and it didn't last long.  I wish I still had it.  I always see them for sale but it just reminds me of funerals for some reason.  I can't do it lol.

Another favorite of mine is my alocasia polly.

Anyone good with prayer plants?  I kill those too haha.

  • @stormageddon-darklordofall i forgot about my christmas cactus! that was a like $5.99 trader joe's whim... it also blooms the most RANDOM times now. *shrugs* as for orchids, this is the first one that i've successfully cut back and had it grow and bloom. i am on the 2nd cut back of the stalk, so we shall see... i have her in a pretty sunny spot and i do not mess with her. i basically treat my orchid like a cat - look but do not touch haha. i want to say that last year it took a good like 6 mos to grow a stalk back, not a fast process by any means.
  • @bearmomma1 I have an old lady days-of-the-week pill box with AM/PM compartments, which helps.

  • Not sure if I would go to mental health thread with this question but I’m start here.
Anyone else here have ADHD? Do you receive treatment for it? I haven’t sought it out yet with my primary because I didn’t know how compatible the meds were with TTC. Figured I’d check in here with you wonderful humans and see if anyone else was in the same boat.
I honestly didn’t even realize I had it until I finally got treatment for my anxiety.
  • @gingermama29 - I don't have it, but my DH and bestie do. Your PCP generally talks to you first (screening) and then once you have a diagnosis, there are personal behavioral adjustments you can make long before seeing if you would do well with adjusting your chemistry. Sometimes just having a diagnosis can be helpful (DH) since it lets you understand that you have a different way to process your environmental input or executive functioning. Neither DH or my bestie are medicated. They just don't work corporate jobs that require the kind of hyper focus you need to successfully sit at a computer for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. (Instead they make bank by selling clothing and armor at Renn faires and adjust their workload to their needs. It's awesome.)
  • @optimistgardener you're being so nice, i am going with the "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all" mentality here
  • my niceness is a thinly veiled rage, @anniemarie887. :) but seriously it truly is the full moon.

  • @bearmomma1 i love the grouping idea.
    History
I am doing this on my own. Left ovary and fallopian tube removed due to cyst/necrosis just after birth. Right ovary and tube still purport to function.
Began TTC in Aug '18 @ age 35
5 or 6 (or 7?!) cycles using frozen donor sperm, ICI. All BFN
    Mar-Jun '19 IUIs, all BFN
Began process of referral for RE in spring of '19, blood tests confirm low AMH (.54) but all else is good.
May '19 HSG shows open tube, but ultrasound suggests fibroids
MRI in June '19 confirms two large fibroids, one growing through wall of uterus
In June '19 I move from California to Oregon, disrupting my insurance, referrals, etc. 5 months spent piecing it all back together.
Nov. '19 attempted myomectomy (vaginal approach) failed. 2nd surgery using laparoscopic method in Jan '20 is successful.
April '20 --> June '20, natural IUIs, all BFN.
July? saline ultrasound and bubble test demonstrate open tube
July '20 clomid cycle cancelled for thin lining
Aug-Oct, 3 femara cycles, all BFN
RE referral. While waiting to set up an appointment Nov-Jan,I continue with natural cycles and ICI, using a known donor, BFN...
Jan '21 more bloodwork, AMH is worse (.30), FSH high albeit not catastrophic at 13.2. hysteroscopy all good. "looks cozy!" says the RE.
Feb '21, injectables (menopur, novarel), iui, BFN (doc said the frozen donor sperm sample had the "best numbers she'd ever seen!")
Mar '21, injectables, iui cancelled due to lack of follicles, converted to at home-insem. BFN
May '21, first IVF round cancelled due to cyst.
July '21 IVF: standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 7; 6 days of stims. 8 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilize, 4 made it to blast. 3 are 4AB, 1 is 4BB. PGT-A results all abnormal.
Oct '21 somewhat improved AMH (.51) and significantly improved FSH (8.9). Maybe it's all the pills I swallow.
    Dec -21, standard antagonist. 225menupur/225gonal-f/cetrotide/5000u trigger, AFC 5; 11 days of stims. retrieval yields 5, 4M, 2 reach day-6 blast (4AB & 4BB). 1 low-level mosaic (chr. 3 deletion), 1 complex abnormal.

  • @optimistgardener it’s like when I was a child and my mother could be yelling at me for xyz and then just calmly answer the phone like everything was copacetic. LOL
  • @anniemarie887 I used to do that all the time when I gave tours.  I'd be all in the back office being "URG GRRRRR  ANGER!!!!" and then turn around, walk out of the office, and walk up to a big group of people being all ::BIG SMILE::  "Hello everyone!  My name is Jennifer and we're going to have a great time... let's start off by..."
