Team blue/pink/green: no way to know right now, really considering the Sneak Peek test though. I have 0 patience right now

Upcoming Appointments: Been trying to get ahold of my OBs office to make an appointment off and on all day. Still sitting on hold.

How are you feeling?: Really good! A bit tired, super hungry, but good.

Rants/Raves: Ive got lots of raves 😊 I have the week off, my son is in daycare, so I’ve got so much time on my hands right now! I start a new job next week and I’m really looking forward to it. The start of the school year always gets me really excited-I teach preschool. Rant: there are bats using my roof to feed on? Or at least that’s my husbands theory. They are SO loud and annoying and it’s noisiest around the 8 pm and 5 am. So noisy that it wakes me up.

Questions: Any STM+ used a CNM? The practice I use has one CNM who I love and many good OBs. I’m thinking of trying to go with the CNM.

GTKY: Are you a sweet or savory kind of person? What's your favorite dish? I’m a sweet tooth person for sure. I have never in my life said “that’s too sweet for me” or understood when someone else said it. Donuts are the love of my life. I also regularly make a 40 minute round trip ride to get Crumbl cookies.

Team blue/pink/green: finding out for sure! Not sure if I’ll do NIPT or wait till AS.

Upcoming Appointments: phone appt 8/23 and first in-person appt (with US) 9/7. So friggin far away.

How are you feeling?: The worse I feel physically the better I feel mentally, that’s how first-tri works, right? Feeling queasy and like my boobs are about to explode, which sucks but is also fantastic.

Rants/Raves: Rant: I love summer but this heatwave has been too much. Looking forward to wearing layers again. Rave: My son’s million annual doctors appointments are mostly over for the year, he hates them so I dreaded them for weeks. With mostly good test results and everything going smoother than anticipated we can all breathe a sigh of relief!

Questions: is it safe to cook with wine? MIL stayed over last week and she left half a bottle of white wine. My husband doesn’t drink wine and I don’t want it to go to waste!

GTKY: Are you a sweet or savory kind of person? What's your favorite dish? This changes daily. I’d say I used to be more of a sweet person, but lean more savory now. I have no favorite dish, it all depends! Been really into Thai food lately though.

@iiirene LOL. I'm definitely one of those ppl that if I take a sip/bite of something sweet, I'm more likely to go "MAN, that's way too sweet!" Most of the time, this happens with non-dairy coffee creamers.

@etnyah I wouldn't waste that bottle. I'm pretty sure that most of the alcohol will evaporate while cooking. But it also depends on how strict you are on alcohol consumption in pregnancy.

Team blue/pink/green: Team "we'll find out but will pretend we won't know so as to drive our friends and family crazy." I might tell you guys, though.

Upcoming Appointments: Wed, Aug 10 for my 1st ultrasound (I'll be 6w3d)

How are you feeling?: I'm feeling just okay. It's just hard to get excited about this stuff anymore given our history *TW* This is our 3rd pregnancy in 10 months *end TW." Last time I was way more excited / planning ahead / etc. This time, I'm just living my life and waiting to pass some initial milestones. In terms of physical symptoms, I don't really have any. Maybe a bit more tired, but that could be a factor of changing up my anxiety medications / not getting good sleep as a result.

Rants/Raves: I had last week off an my one task for the week was to update my resume as I've decided to passively look for another job. I still like my job, so I would only make a move for a truly amazing opportunity, but the first step was getting that piece of paper updated and I DID IT! I had a few friends look over it, and I can legit say that it's finalized at this point. Time to talk to some recruiters!

Questions: My husband was like "can you pin a list of foods you can't eat in pregnancy?" And I'm like... "sure...? But I don't actually know what that is." Anyone? Lol.

GTKY: Are you a sweet or savory kind of person? What's your favorite dish? I'm definitely more of a savory person. I fairly recently learned to make chicken stock from leftover roasted chicken carcass (from Costco), and I swear that IT IS THE BEST. I had 2 cups of it today as snack.

EDD / Weeks + Days: April 7 / 4 weeks 4 days

Team blue/pink/green: team healthy babe. We will probably find out gender midway through the pregnancy. We are having our first IVF baby so we know the sex of our embryos but didn’t select a gender preference for the transfer.

Upcoming Appointments: first scan with me RE at 6w5d!

How are you feeling?: excited! After my loss earlier this year of our one and only natural pregnancy, knowing my embryo is genetically tested is giving me a lot of peace of mind.

Rants/Raves: beta hell is a real thing for all my IVF mamas out there.

GTKY: Are you a sweet or savory kind of person? What's your favorite dish? Savory all the way! A good pasta carbonara comes to mind.

Upcoming Appointments: u/s on 8/4 because of my history then a follow-up u/s on 8/12. My OB is constantly messaging me with updates instead of making me come in for office appointments.

How are you feeling?: Terrified. I have no symptoms other than low energy levels and peeing more.

Rants/Raves: I want to connect to this pregnancy but I can't. TW* After my 2 MMCs (late July and Dec 26th), I can't go through the emotional turmoil of losing another baby. So it's self preservation I guess. But I am happy with my new OB and the staff. They don't brush off my questions/anxieties and are willing to do the extra tests or at least explain all the options we have and what is realistic.

Questions: Any good gummy pre-natals? One with minimal sugar?

GTKY: Are you a sweet or savory kind of person? What's your favorite dish? I'm more savory than sweet. Dark chocolate is my all time favorite. But if we're talking meals... pork roll, egg and cheese with pepper and ketchup on a kaiser roll.

Ultrasound went okay. Doc just called with the results. Gestational sac is measuring perfectly, yolk sac was measuring small and no fetal pole. Said it could be just too early or I'm going to lose this pregnancy too.

But I will be doing repeat beta-hcg again (3 blood draws this time) then ultrasound on 8/12 to keep an eye on what's going on.

@returning_bump_member I’ll be thinking of you. I can only speak from personal experience…but when I had my first ultrasound with my son that said he was measuring two weeks behind the dates from the LMP. I realistically probably ovulated a week later but even then he was measuring a week behind. I had a total meltdown as I waited the two weeks to get another ultrasound and was relieved to find out he was still there and growing. By the time I was 12 weeks he had fully caught up.

FTM/STM/TTM+: this will be my second, I have a 2 year old daughter born August of 2020

EDD / Weeks + Days: april 13th, 4 weeks, 4 days

Team blue/pink/green: any baby lol. Truly I have no preference as to a boy a girl, I'll be excited either way

Upcoming Appointments: I'm a bit of a procrastinator and also I wanted to really be sure before scheduling an appointment. I took my first hot last Saturday (5 days before my missed period) and it was extremely faint. Took several tests after that on Monday and Wednesday but still not very dark.. Missed AF on Wednesday, tested again today and got a very dark positive so I think it's safe enough to call now on Monday

How are you feeling?: so far, different from my last pregnancy. I haven't had too much nausea, only late at night when I'm trying to sleep. With my last it started a week before I I missed my period and was horrendous. Books are pretty sore and I've been getting headaches. But mostly I'm just constantly peeing and absolutely exhausted all the time.

Rants/Raves: I just can't seem to shake the feeling if this not being real, it's like I'm in denial or something, like it just isn't setting in. I keep waiting for AF to start

Questions: anyone else struggle with weight? I was still trying to lose weight from my previous pregnancy and was only 10 pounds away so I'm hoping to at least maintain my weight for the first trimester. Also any recommendations on other allergy medicines? Benadryl works but makes menso sleepy

Definitely savory, hands down. If I never ate sweets again it would bother me much at all. I don't think I can pick one favorite because I'm such a foodie lol. So I'd say top 3, fresh homemade salsa and chips, eggplant parmesean, and chicken Shawarma

After I had my son I had PPD pretty bad and lost a bunch of the weight. I am not at about the same weight as when I started my last pregnancy and I’m trying to just eat mindfully and more healthy than junk, which is hard given my sweet tooth and my current never ending hunger

@etnyah totally safe to cook with wine! Most of the alcohol will cook off anyway

@acleverusername foods you shouldn't eat....certain types of fish (ones that would be higher in mercury), deli meats (unless you cook/heat them), soft cheeses, anything unpasteurized or raw (sushi, meat, eggs, etc.)

EDD / Weeks + Days: April 4th, so 6w1d

Team blue/pink/green: everyone I know in my life is having a boy so I feel like I'm due for a girl, but who knows! Any healthy baby will be well loved♥️

Upcoming Appointments: first appointment tomorrow!

How are you feeling?: feeling super excited but also nervous for my appointment tomorrow and also just pregnancy in general!

Rants/Raves: today was the first day I felt so tired that I felt like I couldn't do what I needed to do. Otherwise, I've been feeling pretty good! It makes me nervous to not have many symptoms, but we'll see since it's still early!

Questions: I'm trying to figure out what kind of exercise routine I could get into. I'd love to find a written plan somewhere because I'm fit but not super comfortable in the gym.

GTKY: Are you a sweet or savory kind of person? What's your favorite dish

I'm usually a savory person, but since being pregnant I've been wanting all the sweets! Usually, I love everything and anything with potatoes.
