    I've been mulling over why this BMB has been so quiet. Came across this article and it sounds like April is actually one of the least popular birth months. Also I love how the heat map shows that very few babies are born on April 1. MH is deathly scared of having an April Fool's baby. Lol. (I find it funny since in many a year past, I've played the "I'm pregnant" April Fool's joke.)

    Interesting. My bestie has an April birthday. My son was born 3 weeks early so I feel like there’s a chance this band could come in March.

    My husband and FIL both have April birthdays! Would be funny if I have this baby on FIL’s birthday since my EDD is the day after. 

    But yeah, it’s quiet here. My first BMB was February, which is also not a huge birth month. We were plenty of people in the group though, but the summer month boards do look way busier.

    Bat update: If there are bats inside your home, animal control, the department of wildlife, and the health department will not help you. You have to call an independent pest control company. I told my husband when he calls them to make sure that they know I’m pregnant and that we have a small child. The hole where the bats enter and exit now has a one way door so they can exit but cannot return. The area where we are pretty sure they got into our bedroom has been sealed off. I didn’t hear any bats this morning!! It is just a little sad though because they are only mama bats with their babies and now they have no home. Thanks for that, hormones.

    @iiirene you can get a bat box from Amazon so they have a home. Just needs to be hung in a quiet area (like the back of a shed). Think of all the bugs they'll eat!

    We took my son to the county fair in my hometown this weekend. He’s such an adaptable little guy but is definitely exhausted. It was so worth it though as we all had such a wonderful time. And my mom wakes up early to hang out with my son so I get to sleep in too which is so lovely.

    My poor baby. He got his second Covid shot Friday and after a low grade fever overnight, I thought he was fine. Nope! Didn’t sleep well last night at all, woke up at 5:30 crying and then puked all over himself and me. He hasn’t puked in maybe two years, so I’m fairly certain it was related to the shot.

    Now he’s asleep on my lap, and I’m considering breaking my “no more than one coffee a day” rule. I’m exhausted too! Hopefully he’ll feel better when he wakes up.
