Can Millie be a nickname for Minerva?

Okay, so I really love the name Minerva, and while Minnie is an adorable nickname, I don't really like it that much. There's also the nickname "Nerva" but it's a tad mature....I know calling a Minerva "Millie" would be a stretch, but I just love the nickname Millie so much. Just wondering what the rest of you think?

I think it's a stretch but that doesn't mean it won't work. Minnie is a much more natural nickname for Minerva and super cute.

You could also just do Min. Millie doesn't make a lot of sense for Minerva. If you like Millie I would go with Millie as the name. Or do a middle name that Millie could be a nickname for.

Are you set on a middle name yet? Maybe if it began with L the Mille nickname seems more connected. Like Minerva Leigh lends itself to Millie.
