WBC 20 times the normal amount

in 1st Trimester
Hello, this is my first post here, hope I’m posting in the correct category.

I’m a month pregnant. I noticed some yellowish discharge so I went and had urine tested. White blood cells came up at 500/ul.
Is this normal in early pregnancy or should I be worried? Trying to see the doctor asap.

    Bacteria in the urine is fairly common in pregnancy and is always treated even if you aren’t having UTI symptoms. The doc will have more insight but they will take care of it.

    heavy cervical mucus in pregnancy is super normal. high wbc in urine is not. you should go see a doctor, planned parenthood and urgent care clinics can treat you for this. you want to make sure they know you are pregnant so that you can be prescribed antibiotics that are safe in pregnancy. not necessary to see an ob for a uti and unless you already have a visit scheduled.
