๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด?: Physically I am feeling pretty good, besides feeling the extra weight on my back and hips.ย A little trouble sleeping and increased acid reflux.ย Mentally I am on a crazy mission to get everything done (baby related or not) that is pending in my life and I think my husband wants to kill me LOL
๐ฅants/Raves:ย Rant is that I want to get so much done off my todo list, but I need help now to get a lot of it done (moving/assembling things).ย And I don't have patience for asking for or waiting for help.ย I'm used to just doing it on my own on my own time.ย Rave is that on the flip side some of my family and friends have been amazing with helping me get stuff done and I am truly grateful.ย Even if I am being a little cranky and demanding.
Questions:ย I've been thinking about getting an exercise ball to bounce on to gear up for labor.ย Has anyone ever tried one for that reason? I used to use one for pilates/yoga.
GTKY: What's something on your bucket list?ย Ooooh, love this question.ย I used to travel a lot and one place I haven't gotten to is Japan.ย I would really like to spend a month or so there!
๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด?: Not so good. Everything aches, Iโm swollen all the time and just canโt move much. My belly is so heavy.
๐ฅants/Raves: Rant: We went to my husbandโs family reunion over the weekend. I love my husbandโs Aunts (he has like 7 of them), but his mom is just so hands off and oblivious. It stresses him out too. My mom who is very hands on and helpful doesnโt understand and always asks about my MIL helping and I have to reexplain that we donโt trust her with the kids by herself etc etc.
Rave: My husband has been so helpful and his boss has allowed him to switch around his schedule to work days so he can do pick ups, dinner and bedtime. He works in retail so his schedule usually changes around.
Questions:
GTKY: What's something on your bucket list? I used to have a bucket list, but Iโve given up on it. Iโm just going to enjoy what happens. Going from 2 to 5 kids with never having planned on that many makes some of those trips and things that cost money a little more difficult.

๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด?: Tired and overwhelmed, but loving all of the baby kicks!
๐ฅants/Raves:ย Rant- We have been dealing with a difficult condo HOA who are refusing to repair damages to our will-be nursery that theyโre responsible for. Now it looks like we might have to take them to court.
Questions: Wondering if any other moms, especially PGAL, are still dealing with excessive worry? I am a mess at times but trying to continue on as normal. We havenโt gotten any bad news about this baby, but my mind is so warped from three losses that I have a hard time not assuming the worst.ย
GTKY: What's something on your bucket list? Becoming a pro makeup artist, or at least making money from it as a side gig. Iโm a clinical social worker so itโs quite different from my day job, haha.

๐จ๐ฝ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐: Just had one today where I met my backup midwife who was lovely. She confirmed baby flipped and is now head down! Next appointment is just a virtual check-in with my primary midwife in two weeks.
๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด?: Feeling anxious about flying and traveling with a toddler while pregnant because there have been major issues at our airport lately. Luckily I'm hearing anecdotally that it has gotten a lot better recently so fingers crossed. Baby is moving a ton and my midwife advised me to reduce exertion at work because I'm getting some preliminary signs of diastasis recti. After this trip I only have three more weekends before mat leave and they have some of the new hires shadowing with me so I'm able to offload some of the lifting and bending.
๐ฅants/Raves: Rave: Sent my baby sprinkle e-vites and they turned out so cute! I used Paperless Post and I love how it helps me track RSVPs and such. Rant: household pet peeves are still driving me up the wall. Hormones definitely have me more irritable with minor grievances.
Questions: Any STM+ have experience with diastasis recti? Is there anything I need to be doing to prevent/help?
GTKY: What's something on your bucket list? Travel-wise there are so many places, but particularly South Africa, Italy, and Vietnam. I don't know when or how, but someday hopefully. I would also love to perfect my own brownie recipe and a couple others to pass on to my kids. I love the nostalgia of secret family recipes.ย
@sandy5693 I had a long prodromal and then early labour with DS and found the exercise ball super helpful. I would bounce on it, use it for pelvic rotations, lean on it for support. I personally loved it and would highly recommend. That one got a hole in it (I got a reeeeally cheap one iff amazon) so I'll be getting a better one in the next week or two.
@krthouse Thank you!ย I figure it is worth a shot.ย I'm so happy to hear it helped you a lot with your first.
@katiekins029 Yes, my excessive worry actually resurfaced lately, I think in part to starting to really get ready for baby - nursery/items/classes/etc.ย So far things have been okay with baby, but I am convinced every day and every appointment I'm about to get bad news.ย Working with my therapist on it, but it is exhausting. I feel you
Baby's Name (if chosen/sharing): Absolutely no idea
๐จ๐ฝ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ถ๐ป๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐: I had one today. GD specialist next Tuesday and 30 week on Thursday.
๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด?: Exhausted and overwhelmed. I'm huge and having a hard time doing stuff which is super frustrating for me because I'm normally a very active and independent person. The pneumonia makes stairs hard and I have to rely on my husband to do a bunch of stuff for me.ย Our contractor should be coming to measure over the next couple of days. I'm really hoping he can knock out one wall next week because that would allow me to get a lot of work done in the baby's room like painting.ย
๐ฅants/Raves:ย ย Rant: My kids have not been understanding of my new limitations since I got sick. It's really frustrating because I'm trying really hard but I'm just so easily exhausted.ย
Questions: Did anyone's pre-register questions ask about circumcision? Mine asked at the hospital last time but they had it on the form this time. We don't circumcise (my husband's choice) so I guess it's good to have that record.
GTKY: What's something on your bucket list? I don't really have a bucket list. The closest thing on it would be wanting to die by shark attack. Obviously not any time soon. I have a healthy respect and fear of sharks and I cannot step foot in the ocean because of it. I could probably manage in crystal clear water but I won't swim in any water I can't see through. I usually stick to pools. (I got bit by something in a lake as a kid. I bled but never saw a thing.)ย
@serenejellybean I've been getting abdominal pain and tension just above my bellybutton towards the end of my work shifts. It will feel extra tight and a bit tender, and not in the way my whole bump gets tight with BH. I really only get it then, and those are my most physically demanding days. I've noticed it's less intense on days when I've been extra mindful to get the team to help me with lifting.
