  I had the same thing, it’s very common and unless it’s accompanied by bright red blood and cramping, then it’s fine.
  
  I had a miscarriage at 5+2 and I had spotting but it stopped and then restarted and was bright red and I had cramping.
  
  This time I’m now 8 weeks and I had light brown spotting and I was so worried and it stopped within a day or two. I still have cramps now and then but nothing compared to the miscarriage cramps (felt like a heavy period)
  
  If you’re worried just call and ask, but I was fine :)
