After weeks of arguing which has probably been putting me under more stress than I need, my husband and I FINALLY landed on the perfect name for our little one that were both happy with! Since I was a child I have always wanted to have a sweet little boy named Chester, but my husband says that name reminds him too much of his creepy great uncle. HE has been insisting on naming him Texas because he wants to make sure our little one grows up tough and independent (which I don’t blame him for) but I never really like the idea of naming babies after states (even if it’s the best one!). THEN it hit me: combine the names! Which is how we ended up with Chexus!! We started with Chexas at first until we realized we could incorporate our love for our LORD and SAVIOR into the name by changing the last two letters! I am honestly just so overjoyed and relieved and excited to welcome little Chexus into the world! So now that I’ve shared, I better not be catching any of you other ladies stealing our perfect name

!
Re: FINALLY settled on a name <3
Please think of your kiddo in school, and as an adult. Do you really think he will like his name? Honestly, I would go back to the drawing board.
If you are truly settled, then I wish you the best and don't be suprised if he wants to go by a nick name, his middle name or wants to legally change it. Maybe he will hold it strong? Hard to say.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Just something about how you combined it put my brain there.
And saying it out loud makes me feel like I’m trying to say Texas but I have a lisp.
