R/R: Rant - My birthday is this weekend and my sister is throwing my nephew's party on it. His is actually the following weekend. I talked about this a few months ago if anyone remembers and how she pretended she didn't realize it was my birthday at first. Still a little salty about it.

Month/Cycle: 18/7 AL

CD: 17 - ovulation day!

WAYDTGKU: letrozole, trigger, TI, progesterone

R/R: horray horray for ovulation day! My surge LH surge started yesterday morning, and after an ultrasound my RE had me give myself the trigger shot at like 1pm yesterday. Our timing has been fantastic so I'm feeling really hopeful this cycle.

Re: my birthday - My husband has work anyway (in the evening) so probably not. It wasn't even the fact that she's doing it that annoys me. Its mostly the part where she tried to pretend she didn't realize it was my birthday. Not a chance. lol

My son and I usually camp out in my backyard on my birthday. It has become sort of a tradition over the past three years. We could still do it but it's going to be like mid 90s so I am contemplating if that is a good idea haha.

@ReadyForaB Aw man forgetting a birthday is a bad excuse because it's kind of a thoughtless thing to say you forgot!

Month/Cycle: 7/5 (trying to avoid this cycle and will TTC next cycle)

R/R: For the last four cycles I did LH testing only, because my work schedule requires overnight shifts, my wake time can vary widely each day, I just didn't think I could get enough accurate values to make it worth it. Well, day before yesterday I decided I was Going To Start BBT Again. I put my thermometer by my nightstand. I carefully took my first temp yesterday morning first thing: 96.6, smurfect, in my pre-ovulation range in previous charts. And then throughout the day my toddler started getting more and more spots on her hands and mouth and feet. And I realized she had Hand Foot and Mouth disease (we got a notification from daycare that it was going around so had a cheat code for diagnosis). Last night I got a sore throat and fever. This morning my temp was 97.7 despite my LH strips being basically zero, no way I'm missing a surge. LOL so I have HFM and had to call out of work and my chart is doomed on day 2 of temping. My kid looks good though, she's enjoying the extra sick day screen time. She has all the spots and I have all the fever.

@krb99 She didn't forget. She just waited to long to book the venue and that was the only date that was left. Guaranteed. That's why it annoyed me. If I did that I would have called her and explained and we would've laughed it off. She just told me the date then acted surprised when I was like ummmm that's my birthday. We are close. She didn't forget.

And ohhhh so frustrating! Just when you want to get back into temping, of course.

R/R: Last day of band camp was today! Hooray! 2 rounds of girl drama, and informing my majorette she’s a flag now… so need a glass of wine tonight. Ugh.

@hestia-is-wearie she has 1 of 3 songs written as of today, 2 weeks of band camp. It’s not good. I feel bad doing it, but she will sit out if she’s not done and looking good. Our first game is august 19, so…

@hestia-is-wearie yes, ever since the main coach left 5 years ago, they haven’t had a coach that does baton, so the band director’s daughter taught them how to create their own routines.
