Posterior Birth - Nurse turned my baby manually with her hands inside me

So guys, I'm curious to see if this has happened to anyone else. When I went into labor my baby was not in the correct position. She was laying with her ear facing up towards my stomach. She was extremely low and they could see her head. My nurse during each contraction had both of her hands inside of me and was manually turning my baby a little bit during each contraction. This lasted for at least an hour and then finally the doctor came in and said they thought she was turned enough and ended up vacuuming her out. Has anyone else ever had this done? I've googled and googled trying to find someone else that had their baby manually turned by the nurse for posterior babies, but haven't found anything.

This exact same situation happened to me! My baby's head was turned to the side a little bit so my OB reached inside of me and tried turning her twice (talk about painful!). She turned back both times so I couldn't push her out properly. They ended up using the vacuum on me too!
