Hope no one minds that I'm starting this but I'm avoiding outside chores because it's disgustingly hot out.

We haven't told our boys that we are expecting yet because we know once they know everyone will know.

Well... I guess we weren't being sneaky enough and our oldest (12) found out. 😏 He had zero reaction. As the oldest of 6 soon to be 7 I guess he just expects it. 😂

We told my newly turned 3 year old and it didn't seem to sink in. Last night I reminded him I have a baby in my belly and he asked if he could get there and say hi. It was adorable and so sweet.

Who has everyone told?! I haven’t told me kids yet. My husband and I need to wrap our minds around a fourth baby. We are overwhelmed at the moment. 😅

We told our parents and siblings plus our son. A few coworkers that I'm close with. Not my manager yet. Then the logistical stuff like reserving a spot at our current daycare.

My husband and my best friend are the only ones who know. We have a family reunion this weekend and I don’t really want to share with obscure family members right now. 😅
But after we come home we’re planning to tell our kids. I haven’t told my coworkers yet but I definitely don’t think I can hide it from anyone for long, I’ve been feeling pretty awful.

We’ve told a handful of friends and my cousin + her husband. Not sure when we’ll tell our immediate families + daughter. She has been wishing and asking for a sibling for a while now so I gotta think of something clever to share the news with her!

My random is that we’ve been on vacation for this week and get to come home to my neighbor’s tree branch smashing our (new) fence thanks to a wicked storm. COOL. Super chill way to end time at the beach 🙃

But to end on a good note, my coworker and I got a signed contract in for a near $1M sale today (I run a sales org) that we’ve been hustling to get across the finish line. YAY!!

I told my one best friend as soon as I got my first squinter. I told my other best friend when I got a more obvious positive. My 3 year old started talking to "the baby in Mom's belly" 2 days after I found out, without being told. And my 9 year old asked me if I had started my period, and I didn't want to lie so I told her the truth. I managed to keep it a secret from DH for about a week but then spilled the beans. I'm telling my side of the family while we're on vacation visiting them. I'll be 8 weeks. But we're not telling DH's judgemental family until way later. Possibly not until I'm about to pop.

My random: My anxiety about this pregnancy has been so bad the past week that I spent half the night last night trying to brainstorm ways to get an earlier ultrasound. I've had so many early losses. Between that, DH being more nervous than excited, and being active in TTC groups + communities where pregnancy loss is discussed frequently, I feel like I'm constantly on edge. Comparing my test progression to other peoples'. Comparing my symptoms and experiences. Constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. I feel so guarded compared to when I had my other two kids and I don't like it.

We've told my sisters, my MIL, our boys' Godparents, and some of our close friends. Basically our support people. We haven't told our boys because they will blab to everyone and from experience untelling randoms sucks.

We haven’t told any family yet (we want to do a fun reveal), but I’ve told a few close friends who knew we were trying again. Plus two of them
guessed 🤣

My random for this week is that I’m officially moving from teaching preschool to kindergarten this fall! I started my teaching career in kindergarten and I’m excited to be back in my roots.

We haven't told anyone yet. Our relationship is so new that people will look at us getting pregnant with so much judgement. He's told one co-worker/friend and I'm sure he will tell the other one next week. I'm not sure when I want to start telling my side of friends, maybe after the 8 week ultrasound.

@mytrueloves I feel you on the anxiety. I keep taking tests daily to make sure my line gets darker/is still there.

My random: today I have been so easily irritated and don't want to be touched at all. Between My daughter on me, my partner touching me and the dogs not getting out of my space I just want 20ish min where I'm not bothered by anyone and not actively driving a car.

Also we are having a small birthday gathering for my youngest (he'll be 1 on Tuesday!😭) tomorrow after church at his Godparents' house an hour away. I am not looking forward to it. I just want to be bloated, tired, and now nauseous alone on my own couch.

@firecracker_mama if I wasn't on the verge of puking constantly because of a random smell I wouldn't budge from the couch. 😅😅

I wish I had the energy. We have company coming soon and I have sooo much to do between, house, animals, and garden.

I’m so upset - we had leftover hibachi fried rice that my husband just reheated for our son and the SMELL 🤢 I love fried rice and I think I might cryyyy I hate nausea. I didn’t have it last pregnancy 😭

Well I survived church and the party today but like half of church now knows I'm pregnant.

Felt like I was about to puke and had to run out and of course that turned heads. Then couldn't eat anything and was feeling pretty crappy at the party and of course got more people's attention. Oh well.

One year ago today I posted my last bump picture for that pregnancy and he was born the next day. This has been the fastest year ever. I swear it goes faster and faster with each kid.

Definitely not looking forward to being that big again but already so ready for all the baby newborn snuggles!

Just puked for the first time tonight. That was fun and way more intense than with my previous pregnancy. I'd usually just dry heave, maybe puke a little but this was way worse.

Yeeeep. And of course we have company coming soon and have a bathroom we are remodeling on top of our farm chores, house chores, and homeschooling. It's rough. And to make it worse pregnancy nightmares have hit and my 1yr old has started waking several times a night again. 😴😴
