7 week ultrasound measured 6 weeks

Today at my first ultrasound my Dr. measured the fetus at 6 weeks 1 days. According to LmP I’m 7 weeks today. We did see a heart beat but didn’t get heart rate. Anyone have a similar experience in the past and what was your outcome? I have a 2.5 year old and first pregnancy was a missed miscarriage. I’m stressing…

    I know it's a Friday so this weekend will feel extra long but I would call your doctor and ask for their professional input. Were they concerned about growth or do they think your dates may be off a bit? Can you request a follow up scan?

    Dr. Wasn’t concerned. She said I could have ovulated late. I have a follow up scan in two weeks. She said if I’m really stressing I can call and come in next week. But she wasn’t concerned (but not sure how much that was a poker face?)

    We thought I was 8 weeks based on LMP but when we got the ultrasound, baby measured 6 weeks. My doctor also wasn’t concerned so I also think I ovulated later.
