    I did just go a little crazy on Prime. I finally committed to the high end Roomba bc it was 50% off. I think it will be helpful to keep the floors a little tidier. RIP my kids toys in the way. Lol!

    Yeah that’s me 7 weeks pregnant and ordering a stroller 🤦🏻‍♀️ It was $200 off! I need to save all I can because we stupidly got rid of all our stuff, convinced we wouldn’t change our minds about #3… OOPS lol

    @Puddlewonderful I’m in the same boat. We have gotten rid of most things as my son gets older but he is still two so we haven’t gotten rid of everything.  I looked at deals but I’m too anxious at this point to buy anything.  What kind of stroller did you get?

    @LaceyBee522 Was also tempted seeing car seat prices (our infant seat expired after my third), but I’m hoping there are some actual black Friday deals on them, because I’m just not ready to buy that stuff quite yet…

    @runningyogimama I landed at the exact same conclusion. It was tempting, but we're going to be pregnant through the holidays, so hopefully there will be more deals then.

    Did anyone else find anything worthwhile??? I always find it challenging to really "sift" through the Amazon deals and end up buying stuff I don't really need.

    Got a haircut for me, my 11yo DD and my 2yo DD today! Such an accomplishment for our family, lol.
     

    Also, I’m looking into some certification /master’s programs to prep me for my next job. While I’ve actually thought about going into a post bachelors nursing program, I’ve recently thought about going into mental health therapy & counseling. Any suggestions or thoughts?

    @cpk3535 I’ve worked in mental health for most of my career. I love it but it can be tough. It’s great experience though.

    @cpk3535 I am a mental health first aider at work. Like Ang said, it can be tough and you need to make sure you have support as well, but it's also rewarding. I fully believe that "everybody needs therapy!" (EbonyJanice Moore) so I'd say go for it if you're interested!

    @angbaby83 went for the city mini GT :) we had the city select with our older two and it was good not great. I’m looking forward to seeing if the mini fits our need better

    Well, I'm totally fucking reeling. I just posted in our US thread. Went in for my 8 week scan today and they saw two fetuses. There was only one egg sac at our first scan. MH is in Portugal, so this timing is hilarious. We are now going to be that family with two set of twins.

    My RE was very pragmatic and warned me of vanishing twin, etc., so I know we could very well still end up with only one (or none) baby. But I'm choosing to just go forward with optimism and assume we'll be getting ready for two in February.

    @cpk3535 the odds (according to my nurse) are 4%. Lol! I thought they were much higher bc of the previous twins, but what do I know? Twins do not run in my family at all. I'm the first person to have them. It is most likely because I'm old and overweight, so releasing more than one egg at a time.

    @angbaby83 Omg, people!!!!  :# I fear this might become the norm soon, can some of the experienced mamas confirm/reject my hypothesis?

    (Had my mom's husband's ex-MIL (!) do the same to me a week ago. She was not meant to know at all, but apparently everyone did. I showed up at a graduation party, and all these people, who are mainly related or formerly related through marriage to my step dad and in no way close to me, congratulated me. At that point I had only told my closest family in secret  :| )

    Im also desperately trying to find a new job to get out of a pretty toxic position. I feel so rushed to find something before Im too far along and its noticeable.
