  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc.
I had a CP in 2020. Right after Memorial Day I found out at my anatomy scan that our son had passed away. I had to be induced that day and delivered him the following. It’s been really really tough but I do want to try again

Status: waiting for my period to return back for the first time pp.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well?
Good, bad. I feel guiltY for wanting to try again so soon and just keep getting stuck in my head.

Any testing coming up/any recent results?
I have my 6 week check up next week to be cleared by my OB

    Questions? None right now

GTKY: What is your favorite cold drink on a hot day? Diet Coke all the way
  • @ejoseph16 Ugh, I have had to unfollow some people on social media after that debacle.

@mambo5-2 Are you doing another transfer right away? I can't remember what your timing looks like.

@caffeinatedchaos I'm sorry you find yourself in our corner of the board, but welcome! Everyone has their own timeline and space for what grieving and moving on looks like. Don't feel guilty if this is right for you!
  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. MC at 8 weeks in Aug. 2021, CP in Dec. 2021

    Status: TWW

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Eh, going okay. I actually like the first part of the TWW because there is nothing in particular to plan for or do. I'll start stressing again in a week or so.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? No, started clomid this cycle and will do a couple cycles of this before considering IUI.

    Questions? Nope

GTKY: What is your favorite cold drink on a hot day? Mmm, I love an Arnold Palmer.
  • @caffeinatedchaos I am so sorry for your loss and that you find yourself here. Don't feel guilty, we are here to support you.

@abjm0325 we are going straight to FET. Started estrodil yesterday

  • @ejoseph16 same.  I cried watchin tiktoks last night about what some women are already facing because of it.  Ugh.  Some people will never understand until it directly impacts them, and it could directly impact literally anyone. Some people just can't see the whole picture.

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. Two MMCs.  One in March 2021 and one in June 2022.

    Status: TWW

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Things are going fine.  DH and I have been at eachothers throats lately, I think its just too much time spend together with vacation haha.  We work opposite shifts and I think we both like our alone time.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? No. Because they don't test until 3 miscarriages.  What a bunch of bullshit.

    Questions? Nope.

GTKY: What is your favorite cold drink on a hot day? Oh gosh.  Depends.  I love a truly by the pool.  Or a refresher from dunkin.

  • @ReadyForaB That MC testing rule is so arbitrary and unfair. Why put someone through another MC if they want to do testing now??
  • @abjm0325 agreed.  My last two pregnancies ended in a MMC within 2 days of one another dating wise.  Something is up.  And if I do get pregnant again, I am going to dread that first ultrasound.  It's sad.

  • Ladies, I need to vent. I am SO annoyed.  My ultrasound to confirm everything passed after the misoprostol was 3 weeks ago Monday.  I went out of the county and then my doctor did so I finally got him on the phone to discuss the results today.  I read them myself that paired with my experience, I knew the majority of it passed.  He said my lining was still thick and he wants me to go for another one next week just to be sure.  By this point I could be freaking pregnant again for all we know!  I just want this to be over. Grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

  • @ReadyForaB I hate that rule! Why we just accept MC’s in any number in this day and age and not do further testing is just beyond me.  Also I am so sorry your dr was so delayed in responding to you and you now have to go and do it again.

I have my six week pp check up on Monday and am having all of the emotions about going to what should be a happy check-in and yet this one isn’t.  I have an incredible OB though and so grateful to have her in my corner. She actually got me connected to an organization local to here that runs a pregnancy and infant loss equine therapy program. I have my first session on the 30th and nervous but looking forward to it as well.
  • @caffeinatedchaos I’m so sorry for your loss. I don’t  recall your story, but I’ve also been through late pregnancy and infant loss. PM me if you want to talk about anything <3 hugs friend
