*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. So now we're still kinda tossing around name ideas lol but I think what we originally had is what we'll still go with.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Finally feeling so much more prepared for this! Everything has pretty much arrived and ready to go. I was actually quite calm about it for a while but I'm getting annoyed by little things again. The nursery is still pretty much a disaster but oh well, he won't be sleeping in there for some time. Everything has been looking good at my appointments and things are starting to happen so we'll see if he stays put or comes on his own.

I think last month's check in was before my last baby shower which yielded some new SIL wedding info as well as our get together from Father's Day. Spoilering the new details to reduce the length.

The particular park they want to get married at has a beach where people can go swimming. This is where SIL would like to get married but to get there it's like a shit ton of stairs or a steep path to get there. Both of my ILs have bum knees so... And also they aren't renting any kind of space at this park? Not sure if they're supposed to or not. So I'm expecting screaming children just running around this beach while they're trying to say their vows 😆. Color scheme-wise they want us to wear black and white. I quietly made a joke if this was a funeral that I don't think many people heard. DH did though.. Hope it's not hot AF on the day but what do I care, I'm not going to hold a days old newborn out in the heat where there is no shade. I've heard some uncle on the groom's side is attending even though we always heard it was immediate family only - meaning parents and siblings. The spouses/SOs are not invited. Apparently I'm the only spouse invited to help even out the numbers since I think the groom has 2 or 3 siblings and DH is the only sibling for SIL. I find that hilarious considering there is a very good chance at this point that even DH won't be attending. So much for trying to keep numbers even. DH has asked for details about the day (like when TF does the ceremony even start??) and SIL said she'd send him a calendar invite with all the info but he has yet to get it 😆🤦‍♀️. So yeah... We've got like 2.5 weeks until this wedding that we still generally no very little about it. Next month's check in should be quite juicy!

We realized that the 2 names we were down to last month aren’t going to work because they are names that would need to be shortened - apparently we had different nicknames in mind and neither of us like the other nicknames at all. So we brought back a name we previously vetoed for being too popular and added another that DH saw written in the sand while we were on vacation. We’re a mess haha, but I think it will be one of those 2 names in the end.

*Questions, concerns or other? Just trucking along. We have a lot to do, it’s been kind of slow moving because it’s still hard to believe sometimes that this is happening. As always I miss you guys!

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I’m already having preterm contractions and am out of work until January. Otherwise, I’m just taking it day by day and trying to stay hydrated/ keep my feet up to avoid swelling from the heat. I’m at the point where her movements are starting to change which obviously gives me so much anxiety. I miss you ladies here, and as always I’m lurking often and rooting for each and every one of you! ❤️

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We actually are pretty happy with our boy name but clueless when it comes to girls. My SO is Italian (and baby will be raised bilingual) so we're looking for an Italian name that also works in English. Ironically my DD already has one of those names.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I don't have my first MW apt for another two weeks so we paid for an early scan yesterday and got to see the baby blob and the heartbeat! I'm still feeling very nervous because I'm 41 but so far everything seems to be working smoothly. I have my first NHS scan in mid-August which seems like 100 years from now. I am still lurking and really hoping that we have some more TTGP graduations soon! FX for you all

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Just happy to be nearing the end! This past month has been bananas for other reasons, and I'll be happy for life to be bananas for newborn reasons. I'm still lurking IF from time to time, and rooting everyone on!

*Which birth month board/due date? July (Due Date of 7/15, but now scheduled to go in for a CS on 7/13)

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Oh man. Unless this baby is a girl and totally doesn't fit the name we have picked out, we're pretty solid on a girl name. We're at a complete loss for a boy name though. I guess we'll see what inspiration strikes when we see him if it is a boy!

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?
I failed at checking in last month, but there was not much happening in the pregnancy arena and a lot going on as I wrapped up my job...permanently (for that job anyway), so June kind of ran away from me. Nothing much exciting to share. I can't believe I'm at the end of pregnancy (it simultaneously feels like it took forever and came up way too quickly), but looking forward to meeting this little one and getting back to feeling somewhat normal. Still lurking the IF thead and hoping to see more graduates asap!!

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I had my fetal echo the other day and everything is looking great! Baby is moving tons which really helps my PGAL brain. We're starting to organize the baby's room finally and my girls are getting so excited to meet their baby brother or sister. I still can't believe I'm more than halfway through. I feel like October seems simultaneously super close and forever from now. I'm lurking here all the time and hoping so much we see some new graduates soon!!

*Which birth month board/due date? February 2023, Feb 1

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Still waiting for our NIPT results. We thought we would have them this past weekend, so that was why I held out updating so that I could share, but since we didn't get them we are thinking we will do a small reveal with family when we are all together labor day weekend, so it will still be a bit before we know.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have a few names thrown out there but nothing set in stone.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I have my NT scan tomorrow so I am excited to see baby again. I am also anxious to get the NIPT results because with my history, chromosomal abnormalities are a concern for us, so I just want to know everything is okay. Other than that, just happy to have made it to 12 weeks and so close to second trimester.

I continue to lurk daily and am hoping so hard for you all to be graduating soon!

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We have a name, the first name is one we just liked, middle name after my late grandmother.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Started feeling more definitive movement last week which helps the anxiety brain a lot. Not much else interesting going on, appointments start ramping up next month as I'll be third tri at the end of August. Still lurking regularly and rooting for everyone here!
